Awesome value!

Hostal Bayon might be an older property, but it might offer the best value in Leon!
I stayed in a spacious double room with a small balcony for only 25 euro. The room and the decoration showed signs of age, but the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well.
There is a shower and a sink inside the room, so you only need to use the shared bathroom to go to the toilet.
The location is great; both within walking distance of the sights, the bars, the restaurants and grocery stores and shops, and also close to the Camino de Santiago.
Even better, a breakfast of toast and coffee is included in the price!
That's awesome value!

Great location!

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the center of León! . Loved the Downtown Location and Atmosphere. Just about name it and you’re within walking distance.

An amazing place to stay in León !

I cannot recommend enough Hostal Bayon for your stay in Leon. Not only it is cheap and central, but the owner is absolutely amazing ! She will help you as much as she can and will make you feel at home. I have been there once before travelling in the west of spain and I came back there at the end of my trip, feeling like coming back home. Everything was perfect and I will recommend this place to all my friends and family !! Thanks a million !!

Centrally located with comfortable rooms

I had a bit of difficulty checking in when I arrived. My bus arrived early in the morning, but despite prior notice, I wasn't able to get ahold of anyone to open the door for me so I had to do a bit of waiting. However, when I finally checked in, the room was clean and comfortable (although a bit dated). The bathroom was right inside the room. The hostal was a bit of a walk from the train and bus stations, but is centrally located between the stations and the main sights of Leon (i.e. Leon Cathedral). All in all a nice and homey stay.

Old, dated, good location

Sited on the second floor, this is an old dated accommodation in need of maintenance. Rooms are a good size and location is excellent. Shared WC/shower but basin in room. Quite location. Breakfast unimpressive. For the price it is excellent value and you can ignore the faults but it needs the entrance door lock replacing and a sign on the door bell. Secure bike storage is excellent. Recommended for a break on the Camino.
