Great location. They don't provide towels for free, so if you need them you can rent it for 50 pesos. You can also book a tour or ferry through the front desk and it's super convenient. The room is nice. It has an air conditioner and a fan. The bed was big with a clean linen.
If you book a 12 person room you will have a shower in a room, but the water pressure there is weak. But you can go to the 2nd floor bathroom.

I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

worth your money. there are other solo traveler, backpackers you can meet. internet signal is not an issue. they have free coffee and drinking water available. their bunks have privacy and individual lockers.

I'll recommend this Hostel, sa talagang gustong magtipid. Dahil affordable yong price Niya. And when it's comes to hospitality wala akong masabi. Mabait ang mga staff and approachable. Especially Kay kuya Marjo, salamat sa pag aasikaso lagi . Thanks! 🙏 Keep up the good work!
