Pension very well located in the historic center

This Inn is conveniently located in the historic centre, a stone's throw from Plaza de Armas, but beware the rooms facing the street can be noisy... so ask for a quiet room, or take with you earplugs if you have light sleep.
The rooms are spacious with a bathroom.
Breakfast is quality, and varied.
In short I recommend this Pension (although some rooms or bathrooms may need a refreshment)
This Pension has a great location: There are a large number of restaurants within 10 minutes "round"

The worst imaginable

My worst hotel experience of the last decade, possible of my entire 73 years.
DO NOT,STAY HERE. Deceptive, dishonest. Never provided the room booked, for which I paid extra and was guaranteed.
Paid for 2 beds, got one.
Paid for 25m2, got 15 m2.
Paid for a closet, got none.
Paid for "wheelchair accessible," was forced to walk up 33 steps to reach the lobby.
Paid for hot water in the bathroom sink, got none.
Bed was so slopey, it nearly broke my back.
Defeating noise from the street from 9am until 10pm daily.

Great place if staying in Lima's city center

Very kind staff and rooms are very comfortable. My only regret is actually staying in the center of Lima, which seems a bit chaotic compared to the last time I visited in 2016. Neighborhoods like Miraflores, Barranco, and San Ysidro are nicer with more eating options (if you're into the top-end food Lima has to offer). Inka Path is in a safe and extremely central location, but I found out the hard way that if you go to those other neighborhoods for the day, you might have a very hard time getting an Uber or taxi back to the center because traffic is so bad, no one wants to drive you back. The hotel was extremely helpful arranging a taxi for me in this situation (as well as to and from the airport--a nice arrangement where you can pay them rather than the driver, and with a credit card). Five stars for the sweet staff and everything else except the location (for me, at least; if you want to stay in the center it's a great option).

Great location

Great location, friendly staff, big and clean room, very close to the plaza de armas, the only bad thing is that there is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs to get to the lobby, good thing there is always someone available to help you.

God hotel in the downtown.

This hotel is located in the middle of Lima’s old and historic neighborhood. It’s not the posh Miraflores but if you like the authenticity of a city this is a good choice. The rooms are simple but confortable and clean. The breakfast (7 to 9) is ok. I recommend the natural juices. People are very sweet and polite.

Very good location
