More Than a Treatment — A Truly Life-Changing Experience

I would absolutely recommend Bufo Alvarius Sanctuary for ibogaine treatment. With all the amenities the facility offered, this trip turned into so much more than I expected.
The ibogaine package even came with a freaking guided tour of an underground cave. That was amazing, and I will never forget it. I was also able to participate in Bufo ceremonies, which really put a cherry on top.
The staff was beyond kind, helpful, and friendly. It truly is a sanctuary. They made this a life-changing experience for me. It wasn’t just the ibogaine—it was everything. I will forever be thankful and grateful to this sanctuary.

Excellent value for an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful quiet facilities and welcoming staff. Very clean. The facilitators do a wonderful job of making the stay an unforgettable experience. Great value, good location, clean rooms. Plenty of activities to fill each day. Five stars!

Excellent extended stay

I had an excellent extended stay at Bufo Alvarius - the sauna was amazing, lots of good vibe folks coming and going, staff is super nice and helpful, plus one of the handyman/gardeners taught me a little Mayan, LOL. Some participate in ceremonies or facilitated healing sessions but many just stop by for a night or two while visiting Tulum.
The location is very convenient, everything is close by, including inexpensive combi vans to cenotes, Akumal, Playa del Carmen etc. It's also pet friendly, my little travel buddy loved it as well. Cheers.

Great experience

Located conveniently in town, this facility provides a calming atmosphere which allows you to feel comfortable and at peace which enhances the experience of any of the medicines you choose to take part in. The friendly staff are there to ensure your stay is comfortable. The ceremonial spaces are one of a kind and allow you to surrender to the medicine in order to bring about the positive changes you may be looking for at an affordable price.

The most powerful healing possible for your mind and soul.

This is a safe space to heal your mind and soul. I felt very welcomed and had the most transformative experience of my life. I was connected with my highest self. The medicine here put me in a place of pure bliss. It took me to a mind set of absolute unconditional love to its highest, for myself and everyone else. It’s pure love, hard to put it into words. Please don’t hesitate if you’re feeling called listen to your calling. Chances are you’re being called because you need it. It’s not a scary experience at all it’s nothing but love here. 10 out of 10!!! I plan on returning to Mexico just for this place alone.
