Thank you For Rest Aparthotel

Ideally situated in St Paul area, this hotel offers the ideal location to explore the beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants in Bugibba, It also offers the opportunity to travel wider across Malta, as it has a great bus terminal.
But the greatest asset this hotel has is the very friendly, welcoming and hospitable staff. It's a family run business and as such it's really feels you are a family member. The apartments are fully equipped, clean, comfortable and well maintained.

What a shame

This is just a shame, and a scam. Never book this hôtel, or you will get disrespected and financially abused. The quality is very low and they will make you pay for everything even for AC. They will as well ask you for extra money as soon as you need them to fix something wrong. Run away from them they are definitely not serious

For the benefit of future readers, we would like to clarify that this reviewer at For Rest Aparthotel and therefore had no firsthand experience of our accommodation, facilities or service.
A two-night reservation was made through Booking.com, but the guest , and the reservation was officially recorded as a -. A review subsequently submitted through Booking.com was removed because no stay had taken place.
We reported this Tripadvisor review and provided the relevant information. Tripadvisor has completed its assessment and decided that the review complies with its submission guidelines and will remain published. We respect the platform’s decision, while maintaining that the comments do not reflect an actual stay at our property.

Extra charge isfor aircon whatttt!!

Not happy about the fact you have to pay for aircon. We went here for cheap accommodation so we didn’t pay for aircon. It’s a rip off! However because we didn’t it meant the whole stay was uncomfortable. We got no sleep due to the heat of the room, even with the balcony door open there was no air!

As clearly explained in our response to your other review, air conditioning has been offered as an optional prepaid service under our policy for the past 19 years. We were among the first properties to introduce this system, and many others have since followed.
As you stated, you chose our property because it offered budget-friendly accommodation. During your four-night stay for four guests, the total air-conditioning cost was only €20; equivalent to €1.25 per person per night, its like buying a bottle of water..
Considering the spacious apartment, its amenities and the very competitive rate you received, we believe your stay represented excellent value. We are sorry that you decided not to continue using the air conditioning and consequently felt uncomfortable. However, the optional charge was clearly communicated, and the facility remained available throughout your stay.

I stayed at the For Rest Aparthotel for 1 week. The apartment was nice, clean and spacious. The idea to have personal codes to enter the building and the apartment is really very good.
The staff at the reception was very helpful to answer to your questions, but the reception could be closed cmduring the weekends. By the way, you can reach them by calling them or sending them a message.
The location of the premise could not be the best in Bugibba, as it is not in the centre of the town, but you are 5 minutes walking from the centre and the beaches of Bugibba, and, far away from the noise of the city centre.
Conclusion: I found myself very well at the For Rest Aparthotel. Thanks to all the staff.

Firstly, this is a self catering property. Meaning, that there's no hotel type amenities, like a gym for example. however that being said, this property is perfect. My boys(18 & 16) and I (60), recently visited Malta to see our families heritage and vacation. The property location in Buggiba, is a good location for getting around via public transport or ride share(Bolt). Alexei our contact at the property and his staff went way beyond to make our stay smooth, simple, and relaxing as possible. Please keep in mind, that the front desk is only open from 9:30am until 2:30pm. That being said, we were out most of our 2 weeks there, so this wasn't a factor. There is construction around the property but that has nothing to do with the location, so please be aware that Malta doesn't have noise bylaws like in Canada or Toronto specifically. The property is wheel chair accessible, with a lift outside. The rooms are as advertised, very clean and spacious. Supermarkets, cafe's, restaurants, 3 gyms are all within a 6 to 10 minute walk away. Buggiba Square is about a 6 minute walk away. Further, the Buggiba Bus Terminal and Buggiba Jetty are all within walking distance but are at opposite sides to each other. I can't give you exact distances but imagine one being east and the west or north to south you get the idea. Overall, if you need a home base and budget friendly accommodation for a vacation, this is definitely the place my boys and I would recommend.
