Lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, any member of staff we encountered was so lovely & helpful. We went for the marathon & it was perfect, it's only a short tram ride from the centre of everything. Beds very comfortable too. We lost our wallet at the marathon event & someone who lived in Latvia found it & contacted the hotel, the lady in reception let us use her phone so we weren't charged ringing a Latvian number from a UK number.
Only con for me would be no wardrobe but that's a personal aesthetic of wanting things put away! So can't down grade them for that as there was plenty of space to ultimately store things.
Baggage storage is available at no charge, a small shop is just over the road too & the tram is all but at the front door.

A bad option.

The hotel room is very small. There is no ventilation system. We are forced to open the windows in 30-degree heat. As a result, the room is full of mosquitoes. There are also small insects in the rooms that I can't identify.
Breakfast options were very limited and inadequate. The room was handed over without being cleaned, in the same condition as the previous customer left it.

The hotel is located in a rough area. You need to have windows open in the night (too hot otherwise) but outside the window the street is full of drunk and loud people shouting aggressively. Also a strange smell in the room. On the plusside is the price and short distance to the citycenter with tram 7.

BEDBUGS

Hotel room had bedbugs, i didn’t see them, but I was bitten all over the body with tipical bedbugs bites. smell was also so terrible, walls are paper thin. DO NOT GO IN HERE!!

Gross!

Dirty, damp and even disgusting! Don't pay for breakfast! See picture ….that’s what you get :(
