Just what we needed

It was lovely - big portions of very filling dishes! Staff was nice, food was delicious and also it was not that expensive. There are a lot of great choices on the menu. Also the place is quite cute with great seating options both inside and outside.

Quiet place with tasty food.

Me and my husband came to this restaurant for dinner. Because there were no other options in Tervete. Most of the restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, when it's not touristic season.
We were the only ones hear, and truly enjoyed it. Food was simple and tasty.

We were running late from excursion and arrived in pub 40min before closing. they could have said no as they were closing at 8.00 and were quite busy - clearly there was no way we could have finished and be gone by 8.00.
but they warned us that waiting time could be until 1h and if we are ready to wait of course they will serve us.
we made our choices (2 kvasses), pork leg and chicken breasts in honey glaze with plums.
they informed us right away (during process of ordering) that pork legs might be gone already so we should chose choice no2 just in case. which I think is very smart - not to lose time.
portions are big, tasty, fresh. they also know what kind of sauce to recommend and it was really tasty.
we were served drinks first and then the waiting game began. after min we were served food as well. portions are huge, food is tasty and place very cosy.
we thank them for being so nice and welcoming when they could easily say no. in fact after us 10min later came another couple and they did not say no either. so kudos for being there for customers 100%!

Wonderful experience!

Although the place was full, the staff found out that table in VIP room will be available soon.
Our waitress was really kind, communicable and polite!
Food was great, good price/performance!
Also local made tap beer "Tērvete"!

Simple and tasty food with nice attitude to clients

Pūteļkrogs is no very far from Tervetes park ( 4,6 km). If you are visiting park and have spent some hours in fresh air You will really enjoy Pūteļkrogs. French fries are made from local potatoes and chop was practically as large as all plate:)
