Excellent for longer stays

My husband and I stayed in the one-bedroom apt. near Ben Yehuda Street in Jerusalem. Fine location, and lovely apartment, with all the amenities, including a washing machine and good kitchen (no oven, just a heating plate, though). The only drawback was a three-story hike upstairs to the apt. and a small problem getting in, involving a tricky lock system. Otherwise, the Sweet Inn proprietors were very helpful, especially with providing instructions and getting us a taxi to the airport.

Rude and greedy hotel - don't book!

We were very looking forward to our trip to Israel in June 2020 but unfortunately we had to cancel all our hotels and flights due to the corona crisis. Our trip included 5 other different hotels in Israel, a car rental and flights we had booked and all of these bookings have been cancelled without a fee due to the circumstances - even those with a non-refundable policy were totally fair and refunded everything.
Not so here: The King David Apartments insisted to charge the stay. We wrote them a nice message via the booking app asking if they would allow us to cancel the stay without a fee (which was recommended by the booking app). The answer was that their policy states non-refundable and that we have to pay. We replied very nicely with an understanding and that we really like the beautiful looking place, instead asking for changing the booking dates alternatively to June the following year (2021) we want to postpone the trip to. Instead of getting any further answer or reply, the hotel just went ahead and charged the credit card on file.
What a greedy and nasty way of dealing with customers! Of course I understand that everybody is somehow impacted by this unprecedented situation, however there is no need to be rude, greedy, ignore friendliness, service and understanding.
We will definitely NOT stay there in 2021 and I can only warn everyone to not expect good or friendly staff there.

This is a rip off!!!

This one bed room apartment smells like garbage. The bathroom was dirty, the sofa bad had stains all over, sheets in bad shape and on top of it an hour before check in I was forced to pay an extra 17% of vat that they did not charged when booked.
The total price of this dump was 237$!!!!
Just avoid it an let know all your friends

Holy Land

The apartment location was excellent, however it did not have hot water and Sweet Inn did not reply to any calls or emails until the third day when we had already left. You will be better off booking through Airbnb or stay at a hotel.

The central location and place of star luxury !

We came here as a family of 7 people and we had the entire 5 bedroom apartment with a big kitchen . The bedrooms and bathrooms are super luxury and beds are too comfortable . Kitchen is well equipped with latest gadgets and a large TV screen . Coffee machine with special flavours was a Bindu . There is also washing machine and dryer . The
Location is excellent - everything within walking distance .Apartment is on 2 floors - kitchen and 2 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms groundflirr. No elevater . Also , no breakfast provided. A good and very pleasant place to stay .!
