The key is the atmosphere.

Great place, good atmosphere and big rooms. The food was delicious and the kitchen open late. There was one evening without hot water but fixed the next day.

Nice place to stay

Only stayed a few days but it was a great place to land for the beginning of my trip. The owners are nice, also the staff working are great. Nice little court yard with a balcony. The rooms are bare but nice and clean. And the price is right. Great shower! Always really hot water. The restaurant is also a nice place to sit, and the food is good. It’s a bit away from the busy market - in a good way but still walkable. definitely recommend.

The food wasn’t good

We were there four people, after getting recommendations from Israelis.
This restaurant serves both Israeli food for those who stay in India long time and miss home food, and Indian food as well. Both concepts were not tasty.
In addition 30 minutes after dinner I got diarrhea, the first time in my stay in India.
As the others didn’t suffer from that, I gave two stars.

awful food

Ate there only because of rain and flood in town. Cheapest paneer used in paneer butter masala, tastless, wont mention rice.. if you cant eat decent indian meal in indian restaurant in India then i dont know where. disappointed

Third Eye in the Camel season

Had a restful stay in Pushkar. The hotel is in a cul-de-sac off the road set away from the hustle and bustle of the holy city. We visited during the camel fair and it really was nice. The hosts live within the premises with their family of three pretty kiddos and a couple of well-fed dogs. One thing about Third Eye is it's in-house kitchen. You can order the yummiest salads and pizza and eat it sitting out in their frangipani and gooseberry garden with pretty flagstones and green grass. I would suggest a meal or two even if you are not staying there.
