Great country hotel near Lake Ammersee

We spent three nights at the Sepperlwirt and were very positively surprised:
The welcome at the reception was very friendly. For info I stated that on the last day instead of as booked there would be no longer four but only three people (1 night & breakfast on the last morning). Contrary to my expectation, a not inconsiderable amount was deducted from the total bill - very customer-friendly!
The rooms are quite newly renovated, everything harmoniously coordinated. Two comfortable chairs provide seating outside the bed. Neat storage space in the closet as well as in the renovated bathroom with floor-to-ceiling shower. Our room had a small balcony with two chairs, a stool and a small table.
The housekeeping was only there on the second day, possibly because we still had the "please don't disturb" sign hanging on the door during breakfast. After 10 o'clock, apparently no one comes. On the second day the room service was there and there was still a fresh bottle of water (tap water, but at least!).
The breakfast buffet is sumptuous with fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh bread and rolls as well as croissants or pastries, veg. Spreads, sausage and cheese (which could be served a little more respectably) and pre-cut vegetables - salmon and white sausage are only available on weekends. There is a wide selection of teas, coffee in the pot on the table or coffee specialties as desired, juices and a juicer where you can mix your own juice. Egg dishes are freshly prepared on request.
One evening we were at the restaurant for dinner - the food was very good (schnitzel and roast onion), the portions absolutely sufficient and the service very friendly.
The service staff is very friendly throughout the hotel - the good soul at breakfast on weekends is particularly noteworthy. The slogan on the website: "Rural. You're right. Heartfelt." fits absolutely! We would definitely come back!

an all-round successful evening

With friends, on the occasion of Oktoberfest, had dinner here on 20.09.2025.
Hospitality is still very important here. From a suitable choice of table, to table decoration to fast and friendly service to very delicious food. In the end we were ordered a taxi, on request, without much Waiting time and especially on time.
It was an all-round successful evening. If we're on the scene again, a stop is scheduled here.

What a lovely hotel

At the end of the village you drive towards the brightly lit inn at night. That alone has something I associate with feeling good and arriving. Friendly welcome, of course all female employees in the Dirndl. The rooms are very nice, very lovingly decorated. Lots of wood, so the smell reminded me subtly of a Finnish sauna.
Bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV of course all state-of-the-art.
Breakfast was excellent. Price performance is absolutely right here. You can certainly eat fantastically in the evening at the Sepperlwirt. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance.
Parking spaces ample.

Cozy and really good

We were here 9 years ago and it was super delicious. Back then we didn't have any kids, but this time our two girls were there. There was a children's menu that you could color in, great! Children's schnitzel with great fries was delicious. The Schwabenpfandl was really good. The veal liver Berlin style was a great portion, the mashed potatoes were good, the liver was great. The rooms are quaint and beautiful and partially renovated. We find it very cozy. The service was generally friendly, but somehow we didn't feel 100% welcome. The price is just about right, as the quality is absolutely right and the house is very nice. Oh yes, I would also like to highlight the toilets in particular. Super clean, big and a separate toilet with a great changing table including wet wipes, changing mat and everything else you need. There is even a deeper children's toilet installed - really great!

Very good location
