Nice apartment with great views at breakfast on the terrace

We stayed for a little holiday with dog visiting the Arber Alm.
Location:
- beautiful view of the valley and the Great Arber
- despite direct location on the main road very quiet
- directly small walks possible
- excellent as a starting point for hikes to the Großer Arber, the small Arbersee and the large Arbersee
Parking spaces:
unfortunately few that belong directly to the accommodation and relatively close
Apartment (No.2):
- medium size with own small kitchenette and bathroom with shower
- bright and friendly furnishings
- very comfortable beds
- well functioning wifi
Breakfast:
- good breakfast buffet with daily changing offer of small hot dishes (e.g. fried egg, boiled egg, sausages, etc.)
- small, cozy interior with little space
- beautiful terrace overlooking the valley
- nice, competent service
Accommodation in general:
- very friendly, attentive people
- very dog friendly
- Top value for money
- the price includes the Guti card for the use of the forest railway
We like to come back and look forward to another wonderful time in the Bavarian Forest !

Was alone in the pasture to have a drink and eat.
The waitress served a side table with about 6 people and passed me several times as if I were air. Not even eye contact. Just nothing. After 25 minutes of disregard, I awkwardly put on my entire ski clothing again and left. It couldn't get any worse.
One point is clearly too many. Rating 0 points.

Big Dissapointment! Arrogant personal, no food after 6 p.m. and food is middling., fraud!!!

I would like to warn every one about fraud in this place!!! Be aware or better find another place. This people trick us with a bill. We came to stay for three night but left after two. And they gave us a bill to pay, where they changed our stay period to smaller amount of nights, so they didn't mind about it. We were naive and didn't check precise, but still wandered: seems like a bit too much. Only after we saw: they made a bill for 4 night, and after changed it for 3 night!!! So we paid for one night we didn't stay!!! When we have wrote them a letter, they say - no, no money back, you booked for three night!!! Can you believe this lie??? I still can't believe it happened!!!
After all the place is not really impressed: food is not tasty and nothing after 18.00, crumbs on the table lay all days we were there, services are arrogant, breakfast scarse, the view from room is rubbish.
Good things only that place is not far from Arber, and there is an absolutely adorable beautiful cat.
But i HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

absichtliche Doppelvermietung

Wir haben zwei Personen gebucht und auch ein Bestätigungsschreiben erhalten, welche wir unterschrieben zurückgesendet haben. Vor Ort wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass das Zimmer anderweitig schon vermietet wurde. Angeblich hätten wir auf eine nochmalige Bestätigung warten müssen! Wie wir mitbekommen haben wurde das Zimmer dann von 4 Personen gemietet. Dies dürfte wohl der tatsächliche Grund für unsere Ausbuchung sein. Dies ist kein Geschäftsgebaren.

Service unterirdisch

Wo ist das Servicepersonal? Gingen zur Mittagszeit in die Alm. Aber leider hat man 10 Minuten keinen Service gesehen. Dann wurden wir endlich bedient… und dann waren die beiden Damen wieder weg. Eine war in der Küche und ich konnte die Dame nicht durch lautes Rufen dazu bewegen uns zu bedienen… sehr unaufmerksam und unprofessionel. Haben dann das Geld auf den Tisch gelegt. Leute schaut bitte nach Euren Gästen, denn die bezahlen euren Gehalt …
