Great b&b in Digby
Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh cooked and delicious. The inn is historic and decorated with beautiful antiques.centrally located near center with water views and free parking.

One night stop
This was the perfect spot to stay one night. Booked two rooms. We drove from Halifax, checked in, then went on Bay of Fundy whale trip. Left the next day for New Brunswick. Perfect location for ferry on/off, sight seeing and restaurants. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Only suggestion would be to allow early/late check in. Tip: there are small ice bags on 3rd floor kitchen.

Thanks for coming to stay! We're so glad you enjoyed breakfast. That's our favourite part of the day :) Guests are welcome to check in early or late. While rooms may not be ready for an early check in, although we can do our best if we know ahead of time, we certainly allow guests to check in early and leave luggage. That way they can have their key and head off on an adventure and not have to worry. Alternatively, if guests are arriving late, we leave the front door unlocked and leave a note with the room keys on the front desk. We want people to be able to enjoy their vacation without planning around checking in and so do our best to accommodate arrival times, no matter what time of the day.

Great stay at the Bayside Inn Bed and Breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at the Bayside Inn. The location faces the harbour on the Main Street of Digby close to restaurants and shops. Angela and her team are just lovely. Communication about check in and parking was excellent and thorough. The town had to do some urgent maintenance across from the inn while we’re were there. Angela kept us up to date on changes to parking and progress of the work.
Despite being over 100 years old, the inn is clean, well appointed and comfortable. Close to hiking trails and whale watching. I highly recommend a stay at the Bayside Inn if you’re in the Digby area.

Charming but a little too old-fashioned in appearance and ways
A lovely, charming B&B but it has its flaws.
The positives: Great location, comfy bed, free parking (not the hotel's but plenty of it) and close to maginificent whale watching.
The flaws: A tiny TV, no coffee machine (there is a kettle and instant coffee, but no milk, on the top floor), a breakfast with no choice and small portions (french toast & bacon day 1, pancakes and bacon day 2) and we nhad no housekeeping on one day with no real apology or offer to put it right.
The positives: Great location, comfy bed, free parking (not the hotel's but plenty of it) and close to maginificent whale watching.

Thank you for coming to stay. I felt very bad your room got missed as we do provide daily housekeeping and take pride in this fact. I certainly apologized on the phone when you telephoned me that evening to request towels and immediately came to the inn and provided a full set of fresh towels. At the risk of making excuses, my staff was done work for the day, as it was 7PM, and I was in bed with a headache (a fact I was not about to share then, but feel the need to share now) and so did not offer to clean the room, although I did come to provide the towels. We would have gladly provided some milk for tea or coffee, but do not leave any in the kitchen as it just ends up going bad before it gets used. This is why we provide coffee whitener. Hopefully the juice, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, cereal, baked goods and oatmeal on the continental side of things were sufficient to supplement the hot breakfast. We enjoy serving breakfast and, while the portions are not huge, they are what we have found to create the least amount of waste.

There is no choice. It's nice but a fairly small portion and not very exciting) and no housekeeping at all on one of our two nights for which we received no real apology.
