Located in the centre of Sankt Anton am Arlberg, a 5-minute walk from the main cable cars, the Banyan offers Asian-style rooms with a balcony, free WiFi, and a spa area with an indoor pool, 2 saunas, and a steam bath.

Lovely hotel run by a great team!
We stayed the first two weeks of January on a Crystal ski holiday. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms spacious and comfortable. All areas are kept extremely clean and tidy at all times, thanks to the housekeeping team. There is a lounge/bar area with a lovely fire - real logs behind glass, extremely cosy! Also here, as well as the breakfast room there are several screens running live updates and webcams for the different sectors of the resort.
If you stay here it is on B&B basis; the breakfast is excellent, with a large choice including a variety of cereal (inc healthy options!), porridge, yoghurts, bircher muesli, extensive fresh fruit platter and whole fruits, cooked breakfast, big variety of breads and pastries, fresh fruit juice as well as cheeses and salad. The coffee machine provides good quality coffee options. The breakfast room is large and spacious, so even when everyone is rushing to fuel up before hitting the slopes, there is no problem with queues and the food is constantly replenished. Big shout out to Beth who oversees the breakfast service! She is very helpful, sharing advice and insights to the resort from her own experience of living, working and skiing the Arlberg.
The hotel spa area has a pool and two saunas with a small number of loungers. We appreciated the saunas being up to temperature every day by around 3.30pm, with the pool being accessible from early morning. Still and sparkling water was available in the spa area, that was a nice addition.
The reception staff - special shout out for Theo! ...plus the owner, were all extremely pleasant and helpful; nothing was a problem and they were very quick to respond when needed.
There is a large ski room in the basement (where there is also a garage for those who drive to resort). However, due to the walk time (just under 10 minutes) we chose to rent a locker at the Galzigbahn - we had a 50% discount via the hotel, with Alber sports. Alternatively you could rent a locker at the Nassereinbahn station which is a similar distance, possibly a minute or so longer.
There are some lovely restaurants and bars very close to the hotel, as well as a Spar literally a minute or two away.
We found the first and second weeks quite different in terms of the hotel guests. The hotel seemed to be full both weeks; it does seem to have a lot of groups, some mixed but more male-only groups, as well as couples.
We were fortunate to have an end room on the 2nd floor - the photo attached is the wonderful view from it. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Banyan and would definitely return.

If paradise were on Earth, then it would be Sankt Anton.
Sankt Anton is a fantastic jewel in the treasure of Tyrol. Hotel Banyan was our home for a week. Like all the most beautiful things, too short. The memories and emotions, however, will be forever. Everyone was excellent, but we were honored to have met a rare person like the receptionist, Peter.

Super nice hotel, was a last minute booking for us. Room was new and clean and there’s a nice sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing. Overall worth every penny and a real catch for the price. There’s a parking garage but we decided to leave the car to a free parking space about 6 min walk away. Ehrwald is really peaceful and there’s lot to explore.

Friendly and central hotel
Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and were very satisfied.
Friendly rooms, good mattresses, and attentive staff. Extensive breakfast. The small indoor pool is also very good.

Perfect central location
We spent a week here as a couple for a skiing trip in early March. The hotel is perfectly located centrally between the two main gondolas. We chose to use the Galzig lift for ski and boot storage, but you can also ski down to the other main gondola and then get back up so that you dont have to walk through St Anton with skis and boots.
We had a room on the 3rd floor with a south facing balcony that was perfectly appointed, and quiet. We would recommend as we were able to relax on the deck chairs at either end of the day. The only thing missing from the rooms is a fridge which I did mention to reception.
The hotel is B and B only but has a nice relaxing bar with a fire for the end of the day,
Breakfast was never too busy and has a really good selection of hot and cold foods.
The reception team were very friendly and always helpful.
The hotel has a small pool and sauna, that again was a nice feature for resting ski legs at the end of the day.
We would recommend this hotel for a skiing holiday.
