Apartment was a three bedroom ocean view. The view was absolutely amazing. Sitting on the balcony was breathtaking. Beach directly across the road. You would struggle to fit six adults on the balcony, however there is plenty of room for four to sit and watch the view or have a meal.
The bedrooms were spacious. A little old style with the type of robes. The kitchen, living and dining area were modern and very roomy. The pool, sauna and games room were excellent and in good condition. A large variety of restaurants, cafes and shops downstairs. Coles a short walk around the corner. Secure parking available under the building. Highly recommend.

Rooms were spotless and entire unit very clean. A couple of maintenance problems - the windows in both bedrooms had problems - a couple of the bedroom(s) windows are faulty - won't stay open etc. and the fan in the small bedroom only spins very very fast or stop. es. Other than that our stay was very pleasant, and we would recommend Pacific Beach resort as a good place to stay on Mooloolaba Beach

Very rare and sad I have to leave a 1 star review.
After paying $620 per night for our stay at this ‘resort’ we had major unresolved issues. The issues were dealt with badly during our stay and badly afterwards.
Rainwater was pouring in through the kitchen ceiling so we called reception and waited for an ‘emergency call back’ as it was very dangerous. Finally, they said no one would help us that night. Water was pouring onto electrical equipment, so we also could not use the kitchen at all as it was a hazard.
We were offered zero meaningful help during our stay and zero afterwards.
When asking for a modest refund amount we were refused on several occasions and despite having video and photo evidence our claims were stated as being false.
Their excuse that a ‘weather event’ - which presumably meant that we should expect water to pour into our kitchen through the ceiling? This is obviously unacceptable - of all places hotels in Queensland should be able to withstand heavy rain and especially through the roof.
The AC was very noisey: the hotel’s response - ‘it’s just the pump that kicks in when in use’.
So, the AC will be noisey if it’s being used.
The individual responding to us was the ‘Guest Services and Owner Liaison’. It seems the owners keep their guests at arms length…

This place seems to have stucked in 80’s . Whilst some upgrades are currently happening I feel that won’t be enough to make the place look and feel nice.

Cleaning staff were great, office staff not so much.
Had no wifi from 5.00 pm Xmas day until 10.30 Boxing Day and no help from staff. The TV only works with Wifi
Great position of the Unit, but seriously needs an upgrade inside for the price
