I recommend you come to Zanzibar my home land every time I go there’s always more to see that I’ve never seen before , the history and the agricultural environment is suitable for anybody , either with kids or not

Split between historic Stone Town and the new city, as a tourist, you'll likely want to spend most of your time in quaint Stone Town. Most Zanzibarians live here so a good place to observe local life. The newer side of town receives few visitors but is where most people live.
