Serving the city of Bosaso in the Puntland region, this airport is the third largest in Somalia. The airport is currently undergoing some major renovations. The city itself is fairly peaceful, and boasts a beautiful white sand beach with a coral reef. If you’re planning on leaving the city, the government recommend bringing an armed guard.
