Discover La Paz
La Paz is a breathtaking destination in more ways than one. Clinging precariously to the side of a huge canyon, with the snowy peak of Mt Illimani looming in the distance, the cityscape itself is completely awe inspiring. At more than ten thousand feet above sea level, it can easily lay claim to being the highest de-facto capital in the world: and the thinner air can easily leave you breathless, too. Take some time to get used to the altitude, enjoy a cuppa in one of the trendy cafes, or just spend some time strolling through the steep streets and winding alleyways. La Paz is a city bursting with rewards.
