Since there are only a few Juice Bars in the west side of the valley, this place excels. Great juices, very chill vibe. Always air conditioned and fresh inside.
High quality, nutritious, tasty food that is also high priced. I'm not up to paying $40- $60 for a lunch for two - at least not on a regular basis. (No, they do not carry wine.)
Juicy Ladies smells absolutely deelish and healthy. When you walk in, you can just smell it. LOVE THAT. They serve juices, smoothies, and a whole butt load of vegan foods for breakfast and something something you can eat for lunch/dinner. Prices here are pretty pricey, so I'll knock off a star for that.
The smoothie/juice menu is pretty overwhelming. I came here on two occasions and for my second time, it came down to two smoothies, one of them being the Royal Green. The lady over the counter told me to use one of the tarot cards to help me out. I, for one, don't believe in tarot cards, and thought, "There's NO chance that one of the cards I pick will be one of the drinks I 'm deciding between." BUT of all the cards I picked, it was the Royal Green smoothie. NUTS!
Enough of that, here's what I have tasted here at Juicy Ladies:
ROYAL GREEN SMOOTHIE:
I can't remember what was in here now. I know it had parsley, mint and some other green things. I kind of didn't like this for some reason and would give it 2.5 stars.
VANILLA ALMOND
Coconut water, almond butter, dates and vanilla 12oz $7.99. Pretty damn good. You know I like almond and coconut and yes, DATES! 4 stars!
TOFU SCRAMBLE BURRITO - $9.50
Scrambled tofu, aoli, salsa, red bell pepper, avocado and vegan bacon bits wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla. This came with a small salad. I actually digged this and it was quite filling. 4.5 stars!
