Beautiful hotel providing an excellent guest experience all around. Large rooms, comfy beds, and my personal highlight was the rooftop pool + DJ.

The Embassy Row Hotel is in a prime location near Dupont Circle and within walking distance to the Adams Morgan district. I really loved the modern decor and the lobby area.

On the roof, they have a deck with a lot of lounge chairs, a bar and a restaurant. The pool is pretty tiny but good enough for a quick dip. Every night they have a different event too, like a silent disco and other fun things.

The Embassy Row Hotel is popular with travelers and locals alike. When the weather is warm, there are few better spots to unwind than the hotel's gorgeous rooftop. Hang out in a cabana, swim in the pool and be sure to check the hotel's schedule to see when the next rooftop yoga class is taking place. If you are hungry, visit the cafe downstairs, which always stocks locally-made snacks and DC's own Compass Coffee.

This is a hotel that is close to Dupont Circle and is located on Embassy Row. The rooms are large, clean and soundproofed. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is no restaurant but there is a breakfast area that is very satisfactory. I will definitely stay here again if I have business in this part of DC. I believe the hotel has been completely remodeled during the last year or so. And, perhaps most important, there is no additional charge for Internet access - not even a password to worry about.

The Embassy Row Hotel makes you feel special the second you walk into the lobby. The hotel is in the Dupont Cirlce area of town and on embassy row. The hotel is going through a major renovation this summer so plan accordingly when visiting. The rooms are a great size, warm and cozy. The hotel has a rooftop and a pool, which is a rarity in DC. Guests have complimentary access to both. This hotel works for both business travelers and families. The hotel is located close to the metro, tons of shopping and restaurants. This is the type of hotel I would stay if I were visiting DC.

The hotel is in a good location, along Massachusetts Avenue with its embassies. It's also close to Dupont Circle and the business district, so there are a large variety of eateries.

As of the summer of 2014, the hotel is embarking on a multi-million dollar renovation, so you might want to check first on what is closed when you are planning a visit. The fitness center was not open when I was there.

The guest rooms, for the moment, are somewhat nondescript. I thought the meeting rooms were pretty, and there are some lovely, sun-drenched corridors.

There's no restaurant or bar here and the rooms are not luxurious, but you can't beat the price and the location! For $119 a night in Dupont Circle, you get a nice room and all the local flavor you can suck up. The area is awash in restaurants and bars, plus it's gay-friendly – everyone's welcome.
Stop at Kramerbooks – it's a destination in itself with books, intellectuals, music, food, beer and wine and it's open all hours.
When you get tired of walking, hop on the Metro – it's steps away from the hotel.
But then come back again, because Embassy Row is one of the few D.C. hotels that has a pool (outside) AND a rooftop deck (bring your own cocktails). In the lobby there's a free continental breakfast in the morning and free fresh-baked cookies in the evening. This place is truly a real deal.

Washington DC's Embassy Row Hotel offers something for everyone at a price that falls squarely in the middle of its competitors.

The lobby is sharply designed, with a touch of historic DC and a touch of modern styling, leaving no doubt it's a nice hotel upon check-in. The rooms themselves won't blow you away; they're cozy and clean, not noteworthy but certainly worth the price. The amenities are (with one exception, listed below) much the same, including an adequate gym, an older-looking restaurant and meeting spaces for business types.

What is extraordinary, however, is the location. Embassy Row is as convenient as they come. The hotel is within walking distance of Dupont Circle, an area rich with wonderful restaurants unique to Washington and a thriving nightlife. Important for families and tourists is the hotel's proximity to the Dupont Metro, from which travelers can reach the rest of metro Washington.

The highlight here is the rooftop patio and pool. The space offers a stunning view of the city with a great spot to cool off and have a cocktail (BYO). A must see during any season.
