My boyfriend and I had the lovely pleasure of staying here for two days, and then extending our stay for two months as the event coordinators at the hostel! Over the course of our two month stay, we planned games and events for staff and guests, and held some epic karaoke nights as well as pub crawls. It was an amazing way to get to know the city and the local Polish people who we love so much! Oki Doki City Hostel is the most social atmosphere of all the hostels in Warsaw. There is an "Old Town" Oki Doki hostel, but it was never the life of the party! At Oki Doki City (this one), there were always interesting international people to meet, and everyone loved a good time. We took people out to the nearby Mazowiecka st, which is the best for clubbing and bars. Also nearby were many attractions such as the Palace of Culture and Science, and the huge park Saski Gardens which included the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. There was so much to walk to and go do, and the people here were unparalleled. Everyone who came in left with smiles on their faces, and some even gained new friends who continued on travels together after Warsaw.

This hostel is a nice place to stay in Warsaw, and I imagine it could be even better during the high season. The rooms are nice, cosy and comfortable, and the hostel is really secure as all the rooms have keys, and there's a code to get into each level of the hostel, which is nice. They also have a small kitchen which is great if you're looking to save money, although because of its size it can get quite crowded. The staff are friendly and helpful providing directions and recommendations upon checking in.

The Oki Doki Hostel is the kind of place where, even if you come alone, you're bound to make friends. The entrance is a bit innocuous because it looks like it's the entrance to a bank. But there is a small sign and if you enter the building and you see a statue of a mermaid, you're in the right place. There are both men's and women's quarters. The staff is friendly and willing to lend a hand to help you get around the city. Security codes are required for quarters located below the reception, which is on the third floor of the building. There is no elevator to get up there, unfortunately. The hostel is located near the city center, the Metro, the Warsaw Uprising museum, the Palace of Culture and Science and many other sights that you can get to quickly via transit. And if you're thirsty, there's a laid-back bar on the street front around the corner from the hostel's entrance.

Oki Doki is the perfect hostel to spend time with friends or to meet new people since it offers a very cozy atmosphere for those purposes. The people at the reception are cool, very lively, happy and are willing to make your stay a memorable one. If you want to experience post-communist Poland with a sense of humor then this is the place. The hostel is located in a building that belongs to the socialist realism architectural movement of the 1930s. During communist time, the building used to be part of the Ministry of Agriculture. The owners have taken advantage of the history of the building and have decorated it with symbols from that era such as pictures of Lenin and propaganda posters, but at the same time have created a very welcoming and artistic atmosphere by combining these political elements with contemporary room decoration.

This hostel is located in a former Polish workers union building, which gives it a unique character. The location is convenient right halfway between the Main Train Station and the Old Town. The building is in the beautiful Dabrowski Square. Each room is individually decorated and has its own personality based on a different color scheme and a decoration style. There are plenty of common areas that provide a place for socializing and meeting new people from all over the world. It is a very colorful place with music in the common rooms and lots of people always moving throughout the building. Oki Doki is a very popular hostel among Spanish travelers. There are groups from Spain all over the place and many signs with the word “Silencio” are noticeable. They have happy hours with a very special deal on Polish beers, so make sure you try them.
