It's a bit expensive, but it's a must if you are in Vienna. The Giant Wheel there is very old, and if you book before you get there, you can eat a romantic dinner there.

Vienna’s amusement park is a definitely not to miss attraction for children (and adults alike!) It features numerous attractions – some for younger children, others for adults. You can take a train ride, enjoy some computer games, karting, shooting games, throwing games, and many other adventure rides – depending on how big of an adrenaline rush attractions you are.

This is quite a large amusement park with no entrance fee - you pay per ride. We went up the Ferris wheel which is quite iconic and provides great views.

This is a really old amusement park in the Prater district in Vienna. It's easily reached by metro u1/u2 - stop at Praterstern, you can't miss it. They open till late - past midnight - from March till late October. The main attraction here is the old school ferris wheel and a beer garden that's in a tent. The ferris wheel has wooden cabins and was part of the movie Before Sunrise (I only know this because someone I met on the trip was obsessed with this movie!) so fans - look out :P The amusement park isn't that crowded nowadays - at least while I was there - and walking around a quiet amusement park is quite a surreal feeling. There is no admission fee, each attraction or game stall charges its own fees. I liked it very much!

One thing that I adore is an amusement park in the center of the city. In that true grand fashion this park is over 200 years old and still a lot of fun today. You have to ride on the centerpiece, the wheel, for ambiance.

Popular amusement park in Vienna's 2nd district. Check out the ferris wheel which gives you a nice view of the surrounding area. There are also a lot of beer gardens nearby that are popular for meeting up with friends in the summer.

The "world famous" attraction park close to the center of Vienna. Not really my thing, except for the part to stroll through. But if you like attraction parks, then this is one you must visit!

An old fashioned amusement park containing a wide variety of attractions most notably the Riesenrad.

This park is good, traditional fun - with classic 19th century carnival games, rides, and local snacks to munch on. It's fun just to walk around and admire the nostalgic memorabilia - or shop around for unique souvenirs.

A fun amusement park area on the far side of the Danube. It's a bit of a ways away from city center, but it's home to the historic ferriswheel from The Third Man, so my friend and I decided to make the journal and ride the wheel.

I'm a sucker for amusement parks, so this was a must-see/experience when I visited Vienna. This is a public park as well, so it's great for a stroll on a nice day. There's a huge ferris wheel, called the Riesenrad, at the entrance. Definitely my favorite part of the park. From the top, you get a great view of the city and its rings.

All kinds of rides. For both children and adults. I wish there were bigger rides.
Convenient location in the city.

Not really a must see i my opinion. We had to wait like 40 minutes for a wheel ride which was ok though.. Maybe it's not that crowded all the time but I am not very impressed with it overal.

It is the historical amusement park of Wien and includes the Wiener Riesenrad. It is not so modern or attractive as other contemporary parks could be, however the panorama from the top of the wheel is really fantastic and the atmosphere of the park suggestive.

It's a nice park but the Ferris Wheel was really what we visited for. We had fun wandering through and taking pictures but if you're looking for a nice escape from the city center - this place isn't so bad.

The Prater is a nice park away from the city. It's a long rectangle and I came there to run laps, which many other people were doing. There's a subway stop nearby, and you can easily find it by looking for the ferris wheel.

Located a little out of the way on the other side of the Danube, the Prater is an old amusement park with a killer Ferris wheel that delivers eye-popping views of the city. Be careful if you have motion-sickness!

I saw Prater in the romantic film "Before Sunrise". It's the story of two young strangers who coincidentally met on a train in Europe, and a strong talked well then let the train to Vienna. Both fall in love and met only overnight only. Prater is a scene featured in the story that made the relationship more closely.

However, I went to Prater not because of I wanted to trace the romantic film "Before Sunrise". Feel back to childhood again when came to Prater.

Nice park, but really came here to see the ferris wheel, the Riesenrad. The Riesenrad was cute, and quaint, and old fashioned. Sorry, I'm a sucker for Before Sunrise and had to see where they had their first kiss.

Immense parc d’attraction ! Aussi bien pour les enfants que pour les adultes, la grande roue est (un peu chère, 10€ la place) mais la vue de la haut est magnifique ! Au top quand il fait beau, il y a également pleins de restos
