Padangtegal. The park is a major tourist attraction in the area, and for good reason, as it is extremely beautiful and working toward a worthy goal.

This is a pleasant ecological reserved filled with monkeys jumping up and down after bananas brought by visitors. Apparently, it is a sacred Balinese Hindu site. A visit is worthwhile if you are in the area.

It’s a cool place to visit if you like monkeys. Yes, it’s true they steal stuff from you. Smart little animals...

This place is very natural and with many hidden ruins and temples for a good view as well. You are sure to see many monkeys in their natural habitat and in line with the jungle temple spirit. Note : leave your sunglasses, phone and valuables in the car, they can get pretty sneaky and steal your glasses and give to the vendors, and the vendors will charge around 100k for a banana to get it back.

A bit over rated. There are better spots in Bali to be in touch with nature than this

We had an enjoyable experience here getting to see the monkeys. Would advise not to bring any food / water with you as we did see someone get bitten. If you want to feed the monkeys you are better off buying corn from the men who work there as those monkeys were a little more well behaved.

Very touristy but great to walk around and see the monkeys as well as the temple etc. Just be careful if feeding them banana's - we saw a few bites when people ran out of food! If you did want a photo it is safer to pay the park guides for corn and they are around if anything goes wrong too!

Funny adventure. Entry is actually 50k for adults. Many monkeys who are jumping around. Sometimes a little bit scary. They're fighting about the bananas and screaming.
Staff is very friendly and try to protect the visitors and answer your questions.
Good for a walk and taking beautiful pictures

Fun place to see tons of monkeys! Monkeys are friendly and so cute! Be careful not to bring food on you or in any of your bags. They will detect it and then try to get to it.

Pretty fun! Don't bring water bottles in or you will be playing tug of war with a monkey. But I have to admit, it was fun! Also, DO NOT WEAR EARRINGS!!! I saw a monkey pull one off a woman and she never got it back.

If you slare still curious about macaques then this is perfect place to visit as monkeys are everywhere. You can buy bananas to feed them. To give them human food is prohibited but if monkeys sees some plastic in your backpack they gonna definitely try to steel. Anyway we had a lot of fun as for me is just amazing to watch them play and run around..

Are you sure you like monkeys? I thought I did until I went here! It was fun watching them move around and interact with other people but make sure you don't mind having their dirty paws get on you! Some of them are pretty aggressive and will climb up your body to take some food from you hand. My sister got paw stains on her clothes that were really hard to get off. Also watch out for your things because they like to steal. There was a corner of the forest we came across where they horde all the items they stole like bags of food, sunglasses, hats, etc. One of them was even getting high off a can of spray paint. Monkeys aren't all that bad. I think these ones are just a bit crazy. The real highlight of the visit is the Hindu temple complex. That alone makes this place worth visiting.

You do need to like monkeys to visit here as there are many. That said there are hidden temples deeper in the forest that are well worth the effort to visit.

This sacred Monkey Forest is definitely a must see in Bali. You will be surrounded by a lot of monkeys imediately after enterring the forest. We suggets to our guests to explore this forest in the morning or in the late afternoon to fully enjoy this experience (when it's too hot, the monkeys prefers to hide )

Really fun place to visit and check out the monkeys and temples. The monkeys are entertaining and will perform for food. Keep your glasses and jewelry out of sight though because they will take them as a sign of them wanting to play.

Pay a little entrance fee and you will be visiting a "little" forest with loads of monkeys. A good place for snapshots but again be careful and don't agitate the monkeys. I saw one tourist got bitten by one of the monkeys when I was there.

Watch out for those cheeky monkeys! Visiting the monkey forest is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ubud, and it costs IDR30,000 to visit. Just make sure you don’t take any food, and hide your water bottles, as the monkey will discover items on you and take them from you… before consuming them while you watch in dismay. Try not to touch them, as they can get nasty and bite. The Monkey Forest is located on Monkey Forest Road.

For someone who is easily amused by watching the behavior of live-freely primates, spare time to visit Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud might be an interesting activity. It's not just like another tropical forest, but conservation, which is lived Balinese long-tailed monkeys. Besides the monkeys, various plants are also cultured in that specified yet spacious area. The entire conservation area holds important role related to Hindu religion and the environment. However, be careful about what you wear while visiting the sanctuary because the primates sometimes get a little bit aggressive.
