Nice hotel! It's a bit older, so if you prefer modern I wouldn't recommend to stay here. It also has a more outdoorsy feel to it. The restaurant was very good and so was the service. I only stayed one night so I can't elaborate too much.
Fantastic hotel in Ubud, extremely friendly and kind staff. Willing to help in every way possible. The hotel is set in the middle of rice fields, lots of bugs everywhere but not their fault - it's pretty standard in Bali. Highly recommend!
Beautiful tranquil environment with friendly staff.
Facilities are nice including the two infinity edge pools with a gorgeous view.
A little out of the way but hourly shuttles to and from the centre are handy.
Would definitely stay there again.
Some people come to Bali for the adventure and others for the parties that can be had, but the wise come for a level of relaxation that is difficult to achieve elsewhere. The Wapa di Ume speaks to the latter. Minutes from bustling downtown Ubud, but light years away in terms of the serenity, natural beauty and refined elegance it is on pampering that the Wapi di Ume excels. Every detail of this resort is carefully considered for comfort, luxury and inspiring relaxation and rejuvenation. Most of the suites overlook impossibly green rice paddies, providing an excellent balance to the softer pastels of the resort itself. Yoga and meditation are part of the daily ritual here, but my guilty pleasure are the decadent massages. The spa is located below and adjacent to the tiered pool deck and waterfalls, and the massage tables overlook a stunning vista of tropical vegetation. The service in the spa - and otherwise - is impeccable. And when too much of a good thing is too much, easy shuttle service to the restaurants and shops of Ubud is an almost instant gratification. Oh, and the private jacuzzi tubs are ridiculous - why would you leave??
Beautiful and luxurious, the Wapa di Ume is first and foremost a retreat. Everything here is geared towards pampering you. Designed around verdant rice paddies and catering to spa and pool needs, this is a place to get away from it all. Backpackers and rugged travelers seeking Ubud's more lively character might consider staying elsewhere. But if you're looking for a nice soak, a great massage and connecting to your inner light, you might have hit gold with Wapa di Ume. Rooms and villas are a stucco, almost Mediterranean theme, adding to the idyllic setting of tiered pools and green landscape.
Out in the countryside, not far from the village of Ubud, Wapa di Ume is a modern spa hotel with gorgeous terraced pools, a traditional spa, and yoga and cooking classes. You can stay either in a reasonably-priced room or a more expensive villa; either way, expect lots of quiet and privacy in this peaceful, hidden retreat.
This little boutique hotel is stunning. Surrounded by rice terraces and equipped with a gorgeous pool and spa, this is a wonderful escape. The amenities here aren't full-on five star, but the surroundings and decor make up for this. A gorgeous property that is worth visiting even if you only pop in for a spa appointment after a day trip to Ubud from elsewhere.
It is located in a very remote of Ubud. You can enjoy the solitude and tranquility while you are in this location as it is surrounded by padi field.
Nice hotel, arrived late at the hotel with no luck with room services to have dinner. It closed at 11.30.
