This place is crazy. The first time we went we were told to not be discouraged by the outside appearance of the building and boy were they right. There is no way you would stop here unless you knew it was here. It is inside a not very elegant gas station on Tybee Island and looks from the outside like someplace to avoid. But then you open the door! The white linen table cloths are a surprise. The seafood is amazing and they have a full service real bar. It is not cheap but the food is very good and the experience was delightful. Nice people, awesome food, great wine list and a funky location

Fine dining on the island. Just a mile or so from the house, tucked away in a strip mall, you wouldn't know it was there unless someone told you.

We have been eating here since it opened. It is just steps from the townhome and my home too. We love to take friends and family there and they always want to go back. They have outdoor music on Thursday - Sunday and it is so nice to sit on the front porch and listen to it. My Favorite is Fish bites, Jill love the crab and asparagus. It is local owned and we (islanders) love this place. Nice to have a place you can walk to.

We think Sundae Cafe offers the best food on the island. Don't let the strip center exterior turn you away. They offer delicious cuisine! Darrell and I love the fried pork chops. MaryLou loves the fish sandwiches. Paul loves the meat loaf. Tracy loves the fried chicken. Yum!

Probably the best restaurant on Tybee. The quality of food is excellent and a wonderful homey atmosphere with the checked table cloths. Please call for reservations.

Excellent - not to be confused with the breakfast place in front of the rental house - this lovely luncheon place is tucked away about a mile from the house - in between a liquor store and a gas station!

Great restaurant, fresh salads, green fried tomatoes, thick cut pork chops, steaks, great wine list and lots more. Don't let the outside appearance fool you.

This wonderful place is located in a strip mall, next to the Chu's Convenience Store at Hwy. 80 and Jones Ave. It's not much to look at, but the food is among the best on the island.

Don't be fooled by the exterior (it's in a strip mall next to the convenience store...) - one of the best restaurants on Tybee. Great lunch spot or try for a moderate/higher priced dinner.

Looks are deceiving. This wonderful gourmet restaurant is tucked away in a tiny strip center. It is a special treat for the special people who choose to stay at Foxhaven. You are less than a block away!

This place is a hidden gem on the island. It's wedged in-between a liquor store and a gas station. You would walk in, not expecting to have white linens cloth on the dinning table and dimmer lights. The ambiance is low key but the food speaks for itself. Make reservations for dinner if you want a table.

The Sundae Cafe wins the Best Restaurant Award virtually every year; and with good reason! Chefs and owners Kevin and A.J., are reknowned for their outstanding fresh prepared cuisine! "The Sundae Cafe' has many personalities!", and one critic posted. "During the day it's a beachy, community gathering place of laid-back (locals) foodies, and at night it becomes a white tablecloth, candle-lit, fine dining establishment!"

This great restaurant "offers southern and seafood fare, with sandwiches, salads, and fried seafood at lunch" - perfect for those on a budget! And there's also upscale menu items, such as steak and seafood dishes at night. They also have daily lunch specials Monday through Friday, which always includes some variation of meat, vegetable and bread!" Better get there early for lunch, it fills up quickly - and reservations a accepted for the evening meal. Closed on Sundays - go figure! :)

Want a more elegant dining experience on the laid back island of Tybee. Try the Sundae Cafe. Don't be deterred by the outward appearance. Reservations are recommended especially during the busy seasons. A little more expensive dinners than the typical island eating spots, but lunches are reasonable and excellent.

An easy walk. I eat here regularly and grade it 5 star every time I go. Fresh food & great cook, lunch specials everyday, nights are special with white table cloths, good wine, good prices and casual dress ! My customers always "thank" me for telling them about this little gem.

The location isn't the nicest, but this restaurant serves world-class cuisine. This is one of the best restaurants in the Savannah area. Reservations are a must.

This is where all the locals eat. They have a meat and 3 during lunch that is cheap and also good, plus great seafood you can order as well. At night it turns into a super seafood restaurant with as good as you can find anywhere. Reservations are needed at night. These guys are so good they do not have to advertise.

I had the best steak ever here! I recommend reservations, as it's not a large venue.
