The PATH system is not exactly a destination, more like a warren of trails through the downtown core. There are plenty of maps to guide you along your way, but if you get lost, it's not the end of the world. You'll find something worth eating among the many stores and fast food joints, like Nadege Patisserie or Blowfish or Char No. 5.

The largest underground shopping area in the world running under the offices in the downtown Toronto. An interesting Canadian solution to the cold winters and its shopping loving visitors.

Toronto's underground city of walkways and shopping. I was there in summer but it must come in incredibly useful for getting around the city in Toronto's extremely cold winters.

The PATH is awesome and a real lifesaver in the winter when it is too cold to walk above ground. The PATH connects a lot of the buildings downtown and there are lots of shops and quick dining along the way.

The PATH system is necessary in a city this cold! The underground network connects most of the downtown area, including hotels, public transposition, malls, office buildings, shops and restaurants and the hockey hall of fame. It's easy to spend a day wandering down here!
