The best thing about this hotel is the location and the balconies. There is also a great rooftop recreation center that provides great views. The rooms a pretty dated and overnight parking is quite expensive.

A prime location at the centre of Toronto downtown, good value for money. Close to shops, restaurants and transport.

This is a nice, clean hotel. The rooms are fairly big so I definitely recommend it for families or big groups. I think the front desk area and lobby looks newer and better than the rooms themselves. The service here is great, except it gets very busy so be prepared to wait in lines when you're checking in and out. This place has some cool ammenities, including a pool with a slide and hot tub. The location is amazing. You're close to public transport, downtown, shops, restaurants, bars. Decent hotel. Nothing fancy!

This hotel is now called the Eaton Chelsea Hotel. For the most part, the prior reviews are still accurate in regards to the atmosphere. Wifi is now available in the rooms as well. As nice as the exterior and common areas are, the rooms are dated and some are quite small. The fitness center/pool is above average, and the water slide is a nice extra, though it is only open on certain days and times. Overall, a nice hotel with plenty to do within walking distance.

This centrally located hotel is a massive family/business oriented space, and is a great option for those looking to keep their kids occupied and entertained without breaking the bank. From the outside, the Delta Chelsea has a Soviet Bloc aesthetic to it - large, full of cement, and overwhelmingly grey. The somewhat drab colour and feel continues into the lobby, but this hotel is more about amenities and services than a slick appearance. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the services offered is where the Delta really shines. Noteworthy points include large and comfortable rooms with free internet, a huge swimming pool with fantastic slide (you are NEVER too old to appreciate a slide!), large and well staffed event/meeting areas should you need them, a complimentary shuttle bus around the downtown core,a kids crafts/activities area, and even a teen are with arcade games and a lounge (so garishly decorated though!).

If you are traveling as a family and are not interested in the ambiance and decor of the hotel, then the Chelsea is definitely a good family option!

The Delta Chelsea is a huge, family-friendly hotel with a capital 'F.' Situated right downtown, it's perfect for family getaways or for business trips/conferences with the family in tow. In fact, everything about it reminds me of childhood hotel stays: the busy lobby with it's brown and red tones has a decidedly mid-90s feel, the pool with water-slide and the arcade are swarming with kids, and the many conference rooms are packed with adults discussing mysterious things. The rooms are clean, neutral and simple, providing exactly what you would expect from a large chain, and with its many amenities, including several restaurants, a business centre and an adults-only pool/fitness centre, the Delta Chelsea is great for those who seek features and services over hipness or style.

The lobby is extremely busy at all hours. Never a quiet moment, and makes me dizzy! Although the rooms are decent and the pool / Gym area is very nice on the 27th floor.

This is a decent hotel. Yes, I only came back to the hotel to sleep and didn't dine there or use any of their other services but the place has a nice appearance and I felt I had gotten good value.

My Stay: 5 nights in November '09

My room: good size. Well furnished. I had a nice comfy queen

Internet: the lobby has free wifi so I just used that occasionally.

Location: great location. Walking distance from a lot of key spots. The shuttle from the airport will drop you off at the hotel and also pick you up from the hotel.

We like this hotel. The rooms and staff are top-notch. The location is perfect for walking around the downtown area. They have indoor pools with one for adults. The specials usually are the way to go. No wireless internet in the rooms yet.

I was here for a conference once. The conference rooms are well-lit, and comfortable in temperature. I haven't seen any guest rooms, so I can't vouch for that. For holding an event, I'd definitely recommend this place. Ours was catered professionally as well, and the food was great.
