A 'splurge' hotel with amazing view of the Tokyo skyline and the Tokyo tower. Furnishing wasn't high end but had that classic Tokyo hotel look. Service at check in was plesant and smooth.

Excellent level of service with the personell and amenities, close proximity to subway and commuter train stations is also big plus. Very close to Ginza district which is more livelier than the immediate area surrounding the hotel.
About 2200 Yen taxi ride to Akihabara station.
Excellent roomservice/laundryservice.
Recommend using the hotels airport limousine bus service, atleast on the return trip, be sure to book it while checking in, early bird catch the worm you know.
We had a blast on our short one week trip and Park Hotel Tokyo was our oasis when energy levels got low!

The lobby is on the 25th floor and the view is simply incredible. On good days, you can see Mt. Fuji and at night, Tokyo Tower is illuminated making for a gorgeous city scape. I loved that this whole place was a blend of classical and modern Japan. They feature so much art- and the descriptions of everything is in English as well as Japanese so you aren't left wondering what a piece is. The lobby/lounge area has a DJ on one night each week that was an intriguing twist.

The hotel is next to Tokyo International Forum- a place with many trade shows and also where Tokyo Fashion Week is often hosted. The hotel reflects this in it's Japanese glam vibe. The assistance from the staff was excellent- as were their language skills.

My only complaint here (as is par for normal in Tokyo and Japan in general) is the hotel was a bit tricky to locate at first. Don't be surprised if you have to ask for a bit of assistance on your way. The tangled mess of elevated highways, underpasses, and trains make things more confusing than average.

My favorite thing about the room was the size of the windows. They were huge and made the small size of the room feel larger than it actually was.

Really clean, nice friendly staff. A bit confusing to get to as you need to enter the building and take an elevator to get to the lobby.

Excellent location if you're trying to go to the Tsukiji fish market in the morning as the subway isn't running at 4AM.

The walk from Shinbashi Station to Park Hotel Tokyo gives a pretty good presentation at first as the they simple clean walkways a few stories off the ground that have a nice view of the surrounding area, but frankly the creepy humanoid statues outside this hotel are just plain off putting. However, if one can venture past the brightly multicolored creepy humanoid blob statues outside the rest of the hotel is quite nice.
There are a wide variety of rooms to choose from and even the smallest rooms are quite large by Tokyo standards and quite elegant by any standards. The hotel also features no less than six different bars and restaurants, as well as conference rooms and banquet halls.
The Shinbashi area is quite famous for drinking and night life, but while there are a few trendy spots for the younger crowd, a lot of the places are more geared towards middle aged salary men.

Shiodome and Shimbashi are big business areas. This hotel has a good view of all the tall buildings in Tokyo and especially Tokyo tower. The lounge, which is in the center of the hotel, doesn't really have a view but the front desk does. You can see into the lounge from all the hallways, so if you don't trust your traveling companion, but you take longer to get ready than him or her, this is your hotel. Enjoy.

Wonderful business hotel in the Shiodome building. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous, the window views amazing, and the staff beyond kind.
