I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks while on business. The rooms are very small, but the service makes up for it. The hotel lobby is very large and the front desk clerks are super friendly. They have a good breakfast buffet in the restaurant located in the lobby. There are some great shops in the lower level and the metro is close by. Overall, I was very pleased. I will definitely stay here again.

Kuala Lumpur

Overpriced for the quality and service, very busy. Not as central as I thought either.. and have to pay daily for wifi. Nonsense in 2016.

Large Hilton in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. Large buildings and shopping areas also. The rooms are small but well appointed. The executive lounge is very nice.

With a name like Hilton Tokyo you would expect the hotel to be in a pretty impressive area and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. The entire area is filled with brand new and very modern and artistically designed sky scrapers as well as one of the major police stations in Tokyo and several key government buildings.
The main lobby is an impressive joy to behold featuring a very spacious lobby with a trendy white colored café in the middle and simple, but elegant design features.
The staff are friendly and professional and virtually every one of them speak excellent English. The hotel also comes equipped with almost every feature that on could possibly expect including an indoor pool, a dry sauna, a Japanese style bath, a very modern gym, and even a drug store to fill prescriptions, as well as several very high end restaurants and gift shops.

Apparently The Hilton in Shinjuku has a a menu for pillow styles. Need I say more? Okay, I will tell you where it is. It’s in West Shinjuku, so you can use Nishi Shinjuku metro station, which you can get to from the basement of the Hilton, or you can walk or use Hilton's shuttle to Shinjuku station. They have two tennis courts. Wow. And a little pool and a bigger gym than other luxury hotels in Tokyo. The breakfast buffet is expensive, but sweet. When I was there it was around Valentine's Day and there were probably twenty strawberry themed foods around the lunch buffet desert bar. Plus there were UFC fighters pacing around the day before a fight. And massive, beautiful Ikebana flower arrangements. So, you have a pick of conversation starters in that lounge, is what I'm saying.

The Hilton is tall, with well reviewed restaurants at the top, but if you want to go to a taller one, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is the tallest in Shinjuku. It's free to go up, and close to the Hilton. Strain your neck all you want. I believe there’s a pillow menu waiting for you back at your hotel.

I stayed here twice as part of the hotel/flight package. The rooms were completely different. The first room was on a lower floor and obviously had been a smoking room at one time. The other room was higher up, no traces of smoke and had an amazing view. The hotel was nice and the concierge was helpful. Shinjuku was a decent base for exploring Tokyo.

The Hilton hotel shinjuku is one of great hotels in Japan but at the same time this hotel is really convenient because near this hotel are a lot of cool shops.
For example, there is Odakyu department store, Takashimaya department store, and Yodobashi Camera ( this is a large electronics shop) But! in case that you get bored, you can go to any place in Tokyo, because there is Shinjuku Station about a ten minute walk from the Hilton.
The hotel itself is great, too. It's clean and you will be well treated in this hotel. The staff is multilingual.

The restaurants in the Hilton are fancy, but if you want casual food, just look below street level. All those large buildings have cafes and convenience stores underground for the employees and public. The Hilton doesn't really do casual, but it doesn't need to because there are so many places right near by.
