I've visited few aquariums in my lifetime. They tend to be pricey, and let you down once you are in, but not this one! It's by this traveler's experience the most beautiful I've seen. Almost 3 stories high of beautiful tanks holding real sea life scenery. It's getting better too. Areas are being renovated. Parking was difficult as you need walk almost a block to get from the parking to the aquarium. Ask for the penguin "back of house" tour. It's extra price on your individual ticket, but to give my daughter her long time wish to pet a penguin for the first time in her life...well, I did it. No regrets.

Great day trip for a family, a couple, or just a solo trip! It seemed a little small but the price is right for what it is. We did a behind the scenes tour and it was worth it the extra money. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable about the animals.

Although it's smaller than expected it was so much fun! They had several touch tanks. Little sharks, and starfish! My sister, my daughter, and I did the penguin encounter.... WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Phenomenal exhibits of Florida wildlife that you can't normally see. Getting eyeball to eyeball with the gator is especially a treat.

All things Under the Sea can be Seen right here at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa! A day of fun for the whole family, the kids can see sharks, pet the penguins, and learn all about our water-dwelling friends. Be sure to make a day trip to Florida Aquarium!

That's a nice aquarium with well defined trails. I've seen better, but you are at a business conference close by, spend an hour and enjoy this place!

Beautiful aquarium with lots to see and do, pet the sharks and stingrays, play with penguins, and the kids will love to play in the splash pad (don't forget their swimsuits).

Awesome place to take children to learn about marine life ! Being able to touch the Sea Ray eels and different species of underwater plant life was cool too! Highly recommended.

Disappointed with the hype and lack of exhibitions. If you can go to the beach and go snorkeling, or to the swamps, you can experience almost 70% of the aquarium. Although i appreciate them not keeping larger animals just for show to attract tourists. But the price is steep for the overall experience.

A truly awesome experience to see the local wildlife we swim with every day as well as things from around the world. Great location for families. Best part when we went was meeting the Penguins face to face. Cliff was so cute!

The Florida Aquarium is a great place to go and have fun. Perfect for children of any ages, as there's something there for everyone. I'm particularly fond of the penguin exhibit.

My grandchildren travel frequently and this was one of the best visits for them to see up close and be able to view the wonders of sea life. The day made for some excellent journaling, follow up research, and notes sent to friends. What more can a Grandma ask for !

A lot smaller than I thought it was gonna be. I think it'd be great for kids but it literally took us about 15 minutes to see it all.

The Florida Aquarium is one of the smallest aquariums I have been too, but what it lacks in quatity it makes up in quality. I especially enjoyed their Wetlands Trail with the otters and the pythons.

Great place to spend time with the family! If you have a big family, get the annual pass for 7. The water playground is a great surprise for the little ones and a perfect way to cool off on hot summer days.

I always have a good time with my son here. He loves the water outside. The new exhibit is pretty cool, although I could have lived without the hissing cockroaches.
