Siem Reap

We did the walk from Bundeena to Marley Head and then another small walk from the other end of Bundeena to Jibbon Beach. The full coast track is 27.4km and takes 2 days. This section was lovely with the Wedding Cake Rock formation along the way. The start of the track is at the end of a culdesac and is easy enough to find. Take plenty of water. The track is well paved, it is also quite popular, so expect to see quite a few people along the way.

Wild experience at the city's door step. Get off the roads and onto the well beaten tracks throughout the park. Our favourite track is there coast walk from Bundeena along the sea cliffs to Little Marley. Great views and in season you might see the migrating whales.

Oklahoma City

It's the second oldest national park in the world after Yellowstone in the US and the Royal National Park is a great place for a riverside picnic, beach swim or bushwalking. Established in 1879, the park is about 30km from the CBD and 2km from Sutherland, in the city's south.
Tours and activities such as basket weaving with Aboriginal Discovery rangers are available. Rangers tell you about the eroded rock formations, help identify birds and wildlife and you can even cool off in a bush pool.

Only an hour from Sydney, and totally accessible by train from the city's Central railway station, this gem of a national park offers stunning and hugely varied coastal scenery, with unspoiled beaches, lovely grasslands, dense forest, and tons of wildlife. In particular, the two-day, 26-km Coast Track is one of the world's best short walks, and offers an attractive alternative to wilderness lovers seeking to avoid the crowds of the Blue Mountains. Extremely highly recommended.
