Brisbane

Long white sandy beach right in front of very developed Hold Coast. Easy to get to using public transport.

Central Surfers Paradise offers great food, shopping & activities with the Cavill Mall at the centre of the action. After dark, there's plenty of nightlife, & a variety of options for party animals to get their drink on.

Surfers Paradise is neither for surfer's nor is it a paradise. It is a high-rise Vegas on the beach, for tourists. The beach is the seemingly endless white sand but the it's soulless

Big tourist destination. Surfers Paradise is the most famous place and beach on Gold Coast. Very urban with lots of shops, stores and casinos around. Close to Surfers Paradise is located Broadbeach which I think it`s a better place to stay.

This is an awesome tourist destination. The sand there was so soft and fine (and white)! Amazing. I found people there to be super friendly and helpful - they opened up my world to Tim Tams, and the best way to eat them! Yum.

It's do nice to walk around and just enjoy the beautiful weather and sights. Maybe you'll even come across a sand sculpture or two. I saw a gratin with fireball eyes! Very entertaining.

This is almost the Vegas of OZ. We wanted to come check it out after hearing how different it was than the rest of the Gold Coast.

Sure enough, it was just as some described - concert paradise. Howevever, with that said, there are some gems among the massive beach side city.

TONS of tourist options, boats, jet skis, beaches, tours and restaurants. Great place for young 20's looking to do pub crawls and meet friends. The nightlife is alive and one of the biggiest hits of this area.

Mostly chain type restaurants but good if you are just looking for a quick bite or something familliar.

To find a more peaceful side of this city, take a stroll north on the beach for about 20 min an you will find almost deserted area with few people. Relaxing :)

Great tourist surf beach, if you want good waves and a little quieter spot head down to broad beach but this is the spot to go if you're visiting.
