Weather

Most people visit the Virgin Islands when winter doldrums set in; but there really isn’t a bad time to visit this little slice of Caribbean heaven. No matter what time of the year you plan your vacation, expect ... Read more
temperatures in the 80s (upper 20s Celsius) during the day and 70s (low 20s Celsius) at night. However, be sure to pack an umbrella next to your swimsuit since tropical showers are fairly frequent (don’t worry: they blow over so quickly you’ll barely notice). The weather gets more intense during hurricane season, which lasts from June to November, so if you’re traveling at this time of the year, you might want to get cancellation insurance in case a hurricane hits before you leave.

My family and I have been to St. Thomas and other US Virgin Islands as well as the British Virgin Islands, and I do not have a single bad thing to say about any of the Islands. Beaches are amazing and beautiful. Water is gorgeous. Locals are nice. A place to remember!!

Such an amazing island. When on island you have options of enjoying at least 6 other island for under $60. Water island, St. John, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke... To name a few. The island of St. Thomas itself is beautiful and I equipt with fun shit to do.

We liked this Caribbean island a lot because since it is owned by the US they use the American dollar. Great beaches, nice eateries and lots of places to get rid of those dollars.

St. Thomas is a beautiful location with bright blue water and wild iguanas! Great snorkeling just off Buck Island at shipwreck cove which is just a short boat ride away from the main island.

Only visited Megan's Bay, a beautiful beach and great place to be a beach bum for hours, it was nice and sunny until it was raining, but didn't last long and they had sunshades on the beach that kept you dry.

I love St. Thomas. I suggest you look at condos on the east end at Home Away or VRBO.
