Inside the arch is the Museum of Westward Expansion, a tribute to pioneers, Native Americans, cowboys, explorers, and life in the Wild West. You can also travel back in time with the magic of the movies at one of the films showing inside Missouri’s most popular attraction.

An amazing experience and so much information with the museum. The ride up was not bad at all - a little claustrophobic - but everything was very educational!

Not for the claustrophobics and the acrophobics! I personally enjoyed the view on top of the arch. I felt the ride to the top took forever because the trams were too small but it was all worth it.

Go to the old courthouse to buy your tickets! Leave enough tip to tour the beautiful courthouse before you walk down to the arch for your trip to the top!!

A great icon of St. Louis and the USA. whether you visit the grounds or go up to the top, the sights are wonderful. The lines for the top can be a bit long during peak times, so get there early or later in the day.

You can't miss this icon of the city. If you go to the top be prepared for a very small elevator ride. Very secure place with TSA type security. After Labor Day the hours change so check the website.

Did not go up, but it was see inspiring just to get that close. I'm afraid of heights, we didn't die.

The arch was beautiful. Very great for families to visit. Sadly the interior was closed for construction but, it still looked wonderful.

The Gateway arch is a must see landmark of St Louis. "Window to the west" has a unique design there is an elevator to get to the top.

A couple of days spent in St. Louis. Stayed just below the Arch. Visited it as well as the Cardinals ballpark and various historic parts of the downtown area.

Downtown and very close to the river, it's hard to miss it. If you want you can take an elevator up to the top and get sweet view of St. Louis.

An utter useless piece of monument. It's huge no doubt about that - but felt like meh... Nothing great about it.
Reaching the spot was a nightmare, half of the roads leading to it were closed - was almost on the decision to drop the place.

I have been up in the Arch a few times and have enjoyed myself very much. You can see into the Cardinal Stadium from way up there!
