South Bank Parkland

The south bank is a very cool place right on the Brisbane River. It is an area with small shops, places to eat, water parks, concert venues, gardens and running/walking paths. Such a cool area to relax for the day and take in the sites for sure!

An awesome addition to the city this! It compliments the whole South Bank area so well, keeping the continuity going along the popular stretch of the riverfront. There are plenty of birds hanging out around here, and if you see lots of people looking at their phone, that'll be them playing Pokemon GO (there's a couple of good spots here).

Lovely public green space on the Brisbane river. Lots of nice places to sit and chill. There are public pools too if you want to take a dip. Its near a lot of dining and drinking options, as well as the Brisbane ferry

South Bank of Brisbane looks really fun, it has like an outdoor water park and pool for public use. And on a hot day, it’s so crowded.

Swimming pools and sandy beaches overlooking the gorgeous night view of the city? Yes! For free? Yes yes yes. This place is awesome for families and couples, it's noisy but in a happy way (especially at night when it's not super crowded). I didn't check but I'm sure the Ferris Wheel costs money. Isn't this view so amazing?!

A great place to relax or spend some quality time with the family! With pools to cool off, a park, some great views and multiple shaded picnic areas it is a great place to spend the day out by yourself with with a group of people.

Awesome Place

South Banks ist der populäre Stadtteil gegenüber der City von Brisbane, auf der anderen Seite des Flusses. Besonders attraktiv sind die riesigen Parkanlagen entlang des Brisbane River, die gleichzeitig eine Art Naherholungsgebiet für die Locals und eine besondere Attraktion für Besucher sind. Hier gibt es tolle Wege zum Spazierengehen und Fahrradfahren, große Rasenflächen zum Picknicken und auch jede Menge Restaurants, Eiscafés und Snackbuden. Besonderes Highlight ist der Stadtstrand: öffentliche Pools mit Blick auf den Fluss, deren Nutzung sogar kostenfrei ist!
