SoHo, which stands for South of Houston Street, is at Canal Street, between Sixth Avenue and Lafayette Street. The neighborhood is now a very trendy, rather upscale area with many shops, bars, restaurants and boutiques. It’s a great place to visit at night, or on the weekend to walk around and just windowshop.

New York City's famous SoHo gallery district. I remember going them when I was younger but as SoHo's fame grew the vibe of the area started to change and the galleries have begun to branch out from their original centralized location.

Very great area with a bunch of little shops, bars, tiny resturaunts, and even a street full of clothing stores

A huge area packed with a ton of different shopping branches at one. Special for sure but I don't know why I do not like it that much. (Perhaps it's look too old and dirty, IMO)

Miss the old soho. Don't really hang around this area like I used, back then it had more of an individual "homey" feeling with affordable prices. Nowadays I just feel like it become more commericalized and lost that unique feeling- however with that being sad it's a great place to hang out and experience especially for tourist. But it's just not my scene anymore.

SoHo is a stop I try to make each and every time I visit NYC. Stroll down Wooster and Spring Streets. From its cobblestone streets to its grungy vibe, SoHo is NYC for me. As an avid shopper, I love that you can wander around SoHo and find quirky brands like Alejandro Ingelmo and Melissa Shoes as well as fun chains like Aritzia, TopShop and Intermix. For the big stores, wander down Broadway and for the little fun folks, Broome, Mercer, Greene and Wooster are all good streets to meander around.

SoHo is the quintessential New York neighborhood, home for artists, fashionistas and your all around bon vivants. When you're in this fast paced neighborhood just south of Houston st., you really feel like you're in NY.

My favorite neighborhood in NY with the best people watching not on a beach in the world...Great restaurants with food from all around the world, bars, Art Galleries, Shopping etc. Ben's Pizza is great to grab a slice, hit the Spring Street Lounge for a beer, walk along West Broadway for Art Galleries and grab a cupcake at the Little Cupcake Bakeshop
