Pronounced as Boat Key, not Kueh. Kueh is the chinese ang ku kueh. Everytime sell at market or incense shop.
Close to Clarke quay, this another part of the night life spot along Singapore river, pack with bars and restaurants
Great place for drinks after work and a casual night out. Quite expensive but very lively on Fridays
Go there for happy hour. If you look for the best deals you can get beer for 3,90SGD ;)
I stayed at the hostel there named 5 foot way inn. This location is good which got 2 different line nearby.
But the seafood restaurant there looks so expensive
At one time Boat Quay was where all the action was but now, you'll find mostly touristy and expensive seafood restaurants. Although Harrys Bar at the corner is still very busy. Take a walk along there but carry on to the more popular Clark Quay and Robertson Quay further up if you are looking for a place to eat.
Not sure if I got the place correctly this one is definitely near Clark quay and Fullerton hotel nice place to take pictures.
Best place to stroll along the Singapore river walk, and sit at one of the little seafood restaurants on Boat Quay in the evening, nice to gaze at the boat rides going by while enjoying a delicious dinner.
Boat Quay is located on the southern end along the river running through Singapore. There is nothing too remarkable about the area, although the place does light up at night with festive lights and lively crowds gathered around the area.
I began to like Boat Quay again after it lost its glory a few years ago over taken by Clarke Quay. There are newnice restaurants opened which are worth trying. I like the ambience; it always felt good after I came back for drinks or dinner - another mood lifter place in Singapore!
Looking for a place to pub? Try the Penny Black (English pub) and if you're hungry, just pop by to the McDonalds behind!
