and with luxurious touches like silky sheets and an espresso maker. The rooms have balconies so you can step outside and enjoy the dizzying view of the city from a high floor. I also liked the bathroom which was really modern with glass fixtures and a deep bathtub. Most of the guests here seem to be on business, so if you use the pool or gym in the middle of the day you’ll probably have it all to yourself. The location is unbeatable and it’s perfectly in the middle of Singapore above the City Hall subway station. There must be a dozen restaurants in the hotel, but you can get cheaper meals in the foodcourt at Raffles Place mall which links to the hotel. That said, it’s worth getting a rate that includes breakfast buffet because it’s an absolute feast. My only complaint would be that there's an extra fee for WiFi - it's already a really expensive hotel!

Wow tallest hotel in Singapore, super views from every angle, especially top floor bar. Good selection of hotel restaurants and bars to pick from, breakfast always busy.
Rooms a bit dated, but keep clean and very comfortable bed.
Great shopping centre underneath and Raffles hotel across the street

Stayed here during my time in Singapore. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed in and I do recommend it over the Swissotel which borders the Fairmont. The Swissotel seems just a little to busy and packed for my liking. The views were great without being too high up and the service was excellent. Being right on top of a MRT station seals the deal with this hotel. I got just about everywhere I needed to be on the MRT.

Fairmont combines luxury, art and convenience. I love the wall-sized piece of art that adorns the reception area, and the cool light/art fixtures in the lobby. The rooms are similarly tastefully decorated - in the South Wing, the rooms are older (but still immaculate) and classically styled, and have views of the bay. The North Wing has been recently renovated with really cool updates - these rooms have more character, and inspired by the Peranakan aesthetic with a modern twist, but have less impressive views. The food options are excellent - Prego's has a breakfast buffet that includes a phenomenal juice bar that takes personal requests), and the Asian Market has one of the most comprehensive (and delicious) buffet spread of local fare on the island, in addition to featuring balloon sculptures and face painting activities on the weekend, just for the kids!

I stayed this hotel for many times anit just felt like home for us.The hotel is attached to Raffles City Mall so my family do not need to go somewhere else to find all the things we needs during our stay. The staffs are friendly and they recognized us already.

The Fairmont is extremely classy and luxurious. It’s a real treat on a holiday if you stay here – especially for Singapore. Their rooms are large and spacious with large comfortable beds, a TV and a Nespresso coffee maker. Their toilets are also very clean and cozy with beautiful white tiles and glass tables and a glass sink. Most rooms also have a gorgeous view of the city district. There’s an outdoor pool available which is nice, together with outdoor breakfast dining. The Hotel also has spa and manicure services available, and a huge indoor gym which clearly looks more than sufficient! Another plus point for the Fairmont is it’s wonderful location – right on top of the busy City Hall Station! The Fairmont is walking distance from all the main attractions of Singapore (City Hall, Esplanade, Museums, Clarke Quay etc) and it’s right next to Raffles City Shopping Centre which has great restaurants to dine at after a long day! Only downside – the Hotel has no free wifi.
