Shimla is a classic hill station, favored more by Indians than foreigners. That said, it is still an enjoyable place to relax while the rest of India is sweltering in the heat of the monsoon. Know that it is a tourist town, but a visit to Shimla will show you the diversity of India. Also worth noting is the toy train ride up to Shimla.

Very Beautiful Hill Station. This is where the Brits used to live in Summer. The Mall road is the main attraction and has a Beautiful library right at the center.
