This was a really nice, clean, and affordable place to stay that I found on Expedia during a one night stay in Seattle.

Centrally located and close to a number of great eateries, I'd consider staying here again. I've since discovered the Belltown Inn and highly recommend that, but to each her/his own.

A smaller hotel chain, with a really nice staff. The bathrooms could use some updating, but the view of the Space Needle is great! The "fitness center" and pool are pretty laughable: The fitness center consists of a treadmill that doesn't perform most of its monitoring functions, an elliptical, a climber and an exercycle, and it's very warm in there - I'm not sure if there's air conditioning, and there's just a large, stationary fan. The pool is also tiny - I think I saw only one person take a quick dip.
Other pluses, besides the staff and the view, is the choice they give you for breakfast. The travel agent arranged for us to have complimentary continental breakfasts (as well as free wi-fi) which we received in the form of vouchers. When we went down to breakfast, we had a choice: We could either get a free continental breakfast (coffee/tea, orange juice, toast, croissant, and danish) OR we could subtract the cost of the continental breakfast ($6.50) from whatever we ordered on the menu. This is an awesome idea, and that alone should put this place ahead of others.

Great affordable hotel for staying in Seattle.

While on first glance the location doesn't seem to be right in the mix it's a good quiet location. You are a few blocks from the Seattle Center and a few blocks from the shopping district and a couple blocks to Belltown where there are plenty of restaurants and clubs.

Go to a show at the cinerama across the street.

Watch out when walking at night. The in between neighborhoods in seattle can be very hit or miss block by block.

One of my favorite Hotel's to stay at in Seattle. Great location and friendly staff and a pool....wooohooo.

San Francisco

modern boutique like rooms. wasn't ridiculously expensive. i just wanted a night or two where i wasn't at a ramada or some random whatever hotel. it's close to everything in downtown/touristy area.

When it comes to work/career,I must be the luckiest guy in the entire world. How many times are you sitting around a group of friends hearing them complain and bitch about their boss? I don't know about you, but this happens all the time. I usually sit there like a bump like a long because I never had anything to add. Reason being, in all my life I have never had a boss I didn't like or get a long with. Not a single time did I dread going to work in the morning because I hated my boss. I've reported to at least 15 to 20 managers and directors over the years, so you would think that just once I might have a boss I would be a little sour on.

What are the odds?

But there are two sides to every story, and just because over the years I have been blessed with excellent working conditions I may actually have been a loser employee and my bosses may not have liked me. I hope this isn't the case, but you never know.

This is not the case with hotels. In my life, I have stayed in some really nice 5 star caliber hotels but have also been subjected to some real dumps (cough Anatole, Dallas). Lucky for me, when covering our territories my boss gives his team some latitude when it comes to choosing our own hotels. Recently I took over two new cities and I was fortunate enough to have Seattle included in my monthly rounds. Thanks to Yelp and google, I did some research and discovered The Warwick.

First off, The Warwick is priced well below most other downtown properties. I paid just $99 on my most recent stay and had a nice corner room with a view the Space Needle. The hotel is located in Belltown and within easy walking distance to some really fantastic restaurants and nightlife. The front desk staff is very friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

A couple of things did bum me out. As I will now be making frequent visits to the Emerald City there is no rewards programs for repeat customers. The rooms for the most part are updated, but the bathrooms need some work.

Overall a great hotel for the price and will be returning again soon.

I stayed in the Warwick in an executive king suite with a view of downtown and the accommodations were quite luxurious. The bed is super comfy and the room nicely equipped. My corporate affiliation netted me complimentary room service breakfast for my entire stay which was nice. The staff was friendly, but I have to admit that I have not used any of the amenities outside of my room so I can't rate those.

I love the location of the Warwick – it’s situated exactly halfway between Westlake Center (the busiest shopping area of downtown Seattle) and Seattle Center (aka, the Space Needle). So if you stay here, you can walk to Pike Place Market, the music and sci-fi museums, the art museum, all the clubs and bars in Belltown - it’s all very close. But surprisingly, the Warwick is in a really quiet area, very peaceful at night. Don’t be fooled by the shoddy-looking Cinerama across the street – that is THE best theater in the city. Only one screen, but it’s amazing, and the sound is incredible.
The staff at the Warwick is awesome, and the rooms are pretty roomy and comfortable. Try to get one facing the Space Needle, the view is great! Overall, a really good deal for such a nice hotel in such a prime location.

San Diego

Surprisingly, I really liked this hotel. Central to everything in downtown Seattle. A parking charge is automatically added, they will remove it if didn't use the service.

San Jose

I'm a bit surprised at the bad reviews this place has gotten because I thought this place was a phenomenal find at its price and location. I was a little skeptical considering that this place was was a few stars lower and some tripadvisor folks had an ok time.

However, upon arriving, it was extremely easy to check in our luggage to go out for the day and check in was a breeze too. They do take $50 a day on your debit as a hold if you pay with debit but for two days that wasn't a huge deal.

The location was really spectacular, it was close to everything and one block from Palace Kitchen which was open late. It was a few blocks from Pike Place and downtown and very close to the shopping (Pacific Place/ Monorail, Westlake, etc.) as well.

This is the perfect hotel for a quick weekend getaway and the bathrooms are not bad either. I definitely enjoyed my stay.
