and comfortable, and the floor to ceiling windows offer some amazing views. On this trip my room was on the 25th floor, and the view looked out over the Moscone center. I wish they hadn't changed the dual-head Heavenly Shower to the square rain-showerhead, the pressure is not nearly as good. There's also a hand shower, but the head is small and doesn't offer much coverage. And you can't run both shower heads at the same time. The location of this hotel is excellent, close to Market Street, the Bart/Muni stop, Starbucks, CVS, Walgreen's, 7-Eleven, the shopping mall (which has a great food court), and it's a short walk to Union Square. I'm not a fan of the add-on fees for items that should be included as standard -- like a bottle of water, internet access, a coffee maker, gym access, etc. But otherwise, I highly recommend this property.

The grand deluxe room we stayed was on the top floor. Maybe they upgraded the room after mentioning that it was our wedding anniversary, because it looked NICER than the pictures I've seen on yelp or their website. They had extra mini refrigerator and complimentary Starbucks coffee. The bathroom was nice and clean. The view outside was spectacular I could see as far as twin peaks. There was parking building located right behind the hotel cost about 35bucks for overnight. Union Square was walking distance so shopping was easy. I had very comfortable stay at this hotel.

Bustling is an understatement when it comes to talking about the lobby of the Park Central. (The same goes for the lobby restaurant, Maso.) During conferences, especially at the nearby Moscone Center (convention center), the hotel is totally booked and full of conference go-ers. Even during a regular week, this is a spot to find many business travelers staying at the financial district is right outside. The Park Central is also a good spot for visitors who want to be in the action downtown. For families, the Children's Creativity Museum is nearby. For shoppers, downtown shopping is just steps away. If you're looking for luxury and location, the Park Central Hotel is a great choice.

I work very hard and when its time to rest I want the best! Started out at another hotel that is supposed to be fab ~ Change hotels but got directions here instead. I really did not think that the Manager could make me happy ~ I had driven straight through from San Diego and was only able to sleep for about 1 hour. I did have to wait for about an hour and a half. SUPRISE they not only met my expectations but went above and beyond. I I was given a great rate~ Could see the Christmas tree across the street from Macys ~ Great place to get business done. Went to find a place to eat and ended up coming back here to eat ~ Wonderful and Cozy.

Get a corner room on a high floor, amazing views of the city. The food is okay. I enjoy staying at newer renovated Westins, the rooms are great along with the amenities. I like the centralized location of the hotel. Great for corporate travel.

Great option to stay for a business traveler. I had been in the lobby here a couple of times and was pretty underwhelmed. But it's actually a great spot. The rooms have been recently renovated - everything feels new, clean and nicely done. The beds, like at all Westins, are super comfy and spacious, with a big desk for working. The fitness center was surprisingly nice, with a bunch of treadmills, bikes and elipticals as well as free weights and other machines. Location was also great - right on market, a couple of blocks from the embarcadero restaurant scene, the financial district, market street shopping and the MoMA. Not hip. No bar. But a solid option in a great location.

Nice hotel, great location. Its just a stone's throw from the moscone center, union square and if you walk for 30 minutes, you can get to pac bell or north beach. The rooms are big, clean, and although somewhat bland, provide stunning views of the city and/or bay.

Location, good bed, and great-smelling lobby = check, check, check.

A girlfriend got a good deal at $110 and we decided to have a Girls' Night Out in SF and stay at the Westin.

What a good find; once we entered the lobby, we were swooned by the lovely aromatherapy smell and we knew it was going to be a very nice hotel.

And it was . . . crisp white linens, comfortable bed, and good views from the 17th floor. It is better than average. Location is ideal for Union Square and other tourist attractions.

Word of Advice: If you can, request a room AWAY from the elevators, because it can be quite distracting if you're a light sleeper.

I would definitely stay here next time.

RECOMMEND.

Location, location, location. If you're visiting SF and want to be in the midst of everything, this hotel is for you.

The decor is filled with red velour, gold brocades, heavy sconces & chandeliers....it does hint to the glamour the Westin may had have a few decades ago. Definitely not a sleek and sexy "modern" feel.

The beds are divine...Heavenly Beds just hug to you sleep. Love it!

As for the lounge, it also is another throw back with lovely jazz singers crooning as you throw a few martinis back.

If you do decide to stay here---make sure you book online to get the best deals!

My company placed me in at this hotel for MacWorld. We came into the morning and dropped off our car. The valet parking was about $50 for 24 hours. We didn't quite care since our company was paying for it. But, it is a step and harsh price. The doorman was helpful enough to suggest us to park at a nearby parking lot, which was a lot cheaper. But, we still didn't care. We parked valet anyways. We were also able to check in our bags to the front desk, since we got in a few hours before check in.

We were situated on the 11 floor. The room was an odd tilted room. It was a bit long and I doubt it was a normally typical room. It had a nice king size bed The bathroom was a little bit small and odd shape. It was a decent place to stay.

Location is really good. Closed to many places and it probably a really good location to be. It has a gym that is open 24 hours that guest can use and the employees are very nice and kind.

This particular Westin is ideal for business travelers because of its central location downtown, and for me, as a crash pad in SF. I got a very reasonable rate from http://Expedia.com just three days before. Our spacious room was on the 17th floor, and had a great view of the city. The only issue was that we had a room right next to the elevators, so it sounded like we were next to a roller coaster. Thank goodness for the Heavenly Bed, otherwise I wouldn't have slept like a baby.

Valet parking at the hotel is over $50/day, so if you need to park overnight, there's $20 parking for 24 hours across the street at the Hearst Parking Structure by CPK.
