great location. centrally located to downtown and restaurants. decor is really nice.

For what I paid I expect way more from a hotel like this. They don't even have room service! The rooms are dated and this place is not well run The rooms are dated and this place is not well run. There are so many better options that are way cheaper nearby.

Local from San Francisco

I can't say much about the rooms, but the conference facilities where top notch. Staff were always helpful and the coffee at the bar was better than expected.

Quick check in process, awaiting the long check out process for tomorrow though. Great location in the city. Right by the Westfield mall. Walking distance between a lot of restaurants that are open super late! The valet guys are more friendly than the security peeps. Housekeeping is very prompt xP

massive lobby, lots of airlines choose to host their staff here, close to union square, amazing thai restaurant on site (one of the best in town), decent sized rooms and views?! what's not to like

Los Angeles

A very nice hotel located right in the middle of Union Square. I stayed here with my boyfriend and his family for his birthday weekend, and found it to be a very enjoyable stay. Apparently the 2nd floor is where you check in, and while it's a very nice floor (really white), there's a lot of empty space that is unoccupied. But this is based on the hotel room!

The room was quite spacious with a decent view of the city. They have a TV with various channels and a pretty big bathroom. The beds were quite comfortable, but as we had two twin size beds ... a little uncomfortable because there wasn't much space to move around in. And the front desk was more than happy to help my boyfriend's mom change rooms without any extra charge. They have really strong wi-fi signal, which is great if you're here on business.

A few drawbacks to the room were that the bathroom didn't have any ventilation system, the shower curtains didn't hold against the water and we ended up getting really wet floors after showering, and the walls were incredibly thin. At 4 in the morning for the nights we were there, we were awaken by the sound of a baby crying from next door. And I believe there were two shower curtains, one to stay outside of the tub and the other to stay in. I ended up pulling both of them in and sticking them with the water to the wall while showering. I had to constantly check to make sure no water dripped through. Oh yea, and there is no refrigerator! I was kind of shocked that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room.

One plus was the fitness center. It had a lot of machines - treadmills, ellipticals, bicycles ... and a very good amount of weight machines as well as free weights. There was even a small massage table/room where people can give each other free massages? They provide you with complimentary towels and plastic headsets (cheap ones) if you need it. The machines worked pretty well, AND most of them had an individual TV on it. There was also a larger TV in the corner of the gym. As for the free weights/stretching area - they had yoga balls, and the heavier workout balls that people use for floor exercises. This gym really made me appreciate Parc 55 even more.

This was my second time really experiencing San Francisco, and this hotel is within a walking distance to a lot of stores, drugstores, and fast food places. A few of the streets were under construction when we came, so we had to take a few detours before we could finally get to Parc 55. Overall a decent place to live in San Fran.

I stayed here because a friend of mine from up north suggested that this hotel was comparable to hotels in Vegas. Infact a tad better than vegas -
I am not quite sure I can vouch for that idea- but it was a decently comfortable hotel.

either or, we had a decent room- facing a nice view of SF! It was close to pretty much all of the touristy location- including the 3 story Forever21.
The convenience of all the transportation bumped up a star!

The downside was the noise level was quite distracting for light sleepers like my boyfriend. Other than that- the front desk was kind enough to take care of us and give us free mini bottle of Wine and a plate full of Chocolate covered Strawberries!

another down side- I had called in advance and asked them to make sure to leave a little note to wish my Boyfriend "happy birthday" they didn't and instead called me in Jan when the trip was completely over and said I am calling to let you know we left the card for this weekend - I was very much annoyed that they messed up the dates! Either way it cancel out only because the front desk took care of us and gave us those goodies - so in the end i can only give this hotel an OKAY experience

great place to stay in the city downtown. nice inside bar and restaurant. fairly reasonable price.

GORGEOUS. I didn't know about this hotel until my recent trip to SF. We had a city view from our room and let me tell you -- it made me fall in love with SF all over again.

Service was great and the lobby had a lounge that looked pretty busy. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed for a night since it was a girlfriend's birthday Friday night. The room was clean and a decent size for SF. The room was clean and I liked the toiletries. They didn't give me a room on an upper floor (I was on 14)...if you want a nice view, request a floor higher up. If I stay here again, I'm going to do that.

I woke up early to use their health club. Don't forget your key to get in. There were 2-3 treadmills and another 2-3 elliptical machines. There were also a couple weight machines as well.

I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. The price is great for waht you get in a hotel in Union Square!

Barley n Hops is the kind of place you’d never stumble on. You’d have to know it was there, hidden on the second floor of the 55 Parc Hotel, with its bright lights and carpet and airport-lounge feel. There’s a sports theme, with Angels autographs on the walls and a Giants helmet on a pedestal and televisions blaring news and sports.

San Jose

its a great hotel with nice views of inner SF. Plus its within walking distance to all of the major shops and cable cars. Everything will be in walking distance from this central location or a $10 cab ride to North beach, fishermans wharf, the embarcadero n lots more.

Local from San Francisco

I have never had a problem staying at the Parc. Location is unbeatable. I had a party fail once where I forgot my cocktail dress at home. What did I do? I ran across the street 15 steps to Forever 21 and bought an emergency dress!! That's how close shopping is to this hotel!!

Beds are SUPER comfy! Rooms are spacious and service is great. Prices can be over $179 a night but if you book in advance, you can score some great deals.

Minus ONE star for $54 overnight parking. OUCH. It's SF so you have to swallow that cost.

3+ very convenient location. Clean and comfortable rooms especially the bed, we did not have a nice view from our room on the 14th floor and it was noisy.

Local from San Francisco

Not exactly an elegant 5 star feeling of a hotel, but absolutely affordable for that "nice" hotel feel. Great place to stay when you're having guests come over and their wallet is in a pinch. Clean, affordable and near lots of cool stuff to do.

Asturias Paraiso Natural

Great Hotel, just a few steps from Market Street, kind staff, big and comfortable rooms. I strongly recommend it.

I love this hotel. The location near Powell Street BART station is excellent.
Staff have always been very friendly here. Check-in is effecient and the rooms are comfortable. I love getting a room that overlooks the baseball stadium--when they get a homerun fireworks go off!
If there's one downside here it would be the noise. No matter how high up I go I can still hear the sirens and trucks in city.

Situated just a short walking distance from Union Square, Parc 55 is in a really convenient location. The hotel itself is quite simple in terms of looks but still looks quite nice/elegant and the location cannot be beat for the price!

The rooms are fairly reasonably priced, you can easily book it last minute (as Connie noted, great for an economical crash pad) for around $150/night which is good for downtown San Francisco.

Note: parking is about $45/overnight which is pretty standard for hotels in the city.

St. Augustine

Parc 55 Wyndham has a great location right by Union Square and just off of Market St in San Francisco. The hotel itself was quite nice. We did have some initial trouble with our bags not being brought up but they eventually arrived. The rooms were also very nice and comfortable.

We were there during the World Series when SF won and it was extremely noisy at night - I had to wear ear plugs. Not sure if that's normally a problem but it might be due to how the hotel sits and the floor we were on.

There is a pretty decent little Thai restaurant in the building with very reasonable prices for SF.

Conveniently located in Union Square, the Parc 55 is a great hotel for the business traveller or economical crash pad after a night out at nearby clubs like Ruby Skye. The lobby has a decent bar area and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Standard rooms are not all that luxurious, but furnishings are rather contemporary. Suites are spacious and offer nice views of the city.
