Great local spot in Old Town. The same owner as what was once Casa de Bandini. Patio seating, solid Mexican fare, tons of types of margaritas and great service set this place apart.

Great place just outside Old Town. Fun atmosphere, delicious food, awesome margaritas. If you have family and friends visiting from out of town, you should definitely take them to one of San Diego's best!

Now this one right here is a gem within the Old Town area of San Diego. Great atmosphere with music that doesn't get out of your head during your meal. Great good and decent prices.

Good food, nice atmosphere just outside of Old Town, they have a nice outside patio that is very nice in the day & also have heaters for evening seating!

Inexpensive, good, Mexican food not too far from the house. We go there about once every month or so.

Best food and margaritas in Old Town...sit under the Banyan tree in the courtyard and park across the street at the SD County Offices parking lot (on weekends). If you start here you can park more easily and then walk into Old Town.

Loved eating here. They have music at times too. Food was fantastic and service terrific. They even have their own parking lot and that is wonderful for this busy area of town.

Fun, family atmosphere in the heart of Old Town. Very busy when I went there, as any Mexican restaurant with a mariachi band should be. Huge margaritas.

My favorite restaurant in Old Town, I have been coming here since I was a kid. Great authentic Mexican food and easily accessible on the main corner as you enter old town from the 8 freeway. I love sitting outside by the heat lamps, but most the time you won't need them.. gotta love San Diego!

Really enjoy it here. We strive to arrive early to avoid the parking issues. Food is as you might expect for such a large restaurant. Fun environment makes it worth it.

Highly authentic Mexican food perched on a main corner/street in Old Town. Across from the Padre Inn, connected with Bazaar Del Mundo shops & next to Presidio Park. The decor, live mariachi, and waitresses really make the experience feel authentic. The portions are large, and the selection is huge. No real taco Tuesday specials outside the bar area. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seats (with headlamps) & it's own parking lot.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and are in the Old Town/downtown San Diego area, Casa Guadalajara is a must!! The food is delish! I had the Chicken and Mango Quesadillas. Sooo yummy. The decor, staff, music, atmosphere, and food really make you feel like you are on a little vacay in Mexico. They also have there own Parking lot, so parking is easy peasy. Don't leave without a house Margarita :)

Yes, this place is kitschy, the food is so-so and it is usually filled to the brim with tourists; however, because of the outdoor seating and giant margaritas, I tend to overlook these points. My friend's parents used to take us there on annual trips to San Diego. I have fond memories of pleasant evenings spent enjoying the mild SoCal weather, stuffing myself with enchiladas and making requests of the Mariachi band. Try the Ultimate Green Burrito with the Cadillac Margarita (and make sure you have a ride home).
