This is the "other" most famous coffee shop in Rome. If you ask any local, they'll either prefer this one or Sant'Eustachio (I'm a staunch fan of the latter), and there's a bit of a friendly rivalry between the two. The truth is that you can't go wrong with either one. While this is my second favorite coffee shop in town, they make a damn fine cup of espresso for just 90 cents. They also have an amazing hot drinking chocolate for those who don't like coffee. It's simple and not too sweet. Go early to avoid crowds. This place is large with plenty of room for standing at the bar (when in Rome, do as the locals do), and the baristas are friendly and efficient.

Quite possibly the best coffee in Rome. That's saying a lot but I ordered a decaf cappuccino (1,30 euro) and it was DELICIOUS. Normally I don't expect full bodied flavor from decaf but this was a different beast all together. There was complexity and fruitiness. It was very good. You order at the register, pay, get your receipt and bring it to the barista. They make your coffee of choice and you drink it at the bar. This is strictly standing room service, which is why it was so cheap. If you didn't know, sit-down service in Europe is always more expensive. A shot of espresso was only 0.90 euro here. This little coffee shop is tucked away by the Pantheon. Do visit it when you're in the area. You're in for a treat. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Drink excellent coffee!

Go here for a granita, a frozen espresso treat with cream on it. It's right near the Pantheon

In addition to being a bar is always packed with coffee lovers and tourists headed to the Pantheon, there is a small coffee shop inside their own roasting.
It 'is possible to buy the ground coffee beans, however the staff prepares some great packages, are well sealed beautiful to see, among other things, a nice gift idea.
Needless to say that the quality of coffee served is excellent.
Council, before drinking it, breathing its perfume well and keep in mind, because you can hardly find a better place to be.
