I am in this hotel right now and I cannot wait another second to write this review because I would feel I was doing a disservice to anyone thinking of going to this place. Now clearly some people may have had a satisfactory visit but I bet experiences like mine are pretty common here. Check in is 3:00. Checkout is 12. We arrived at 3:30 to check in. I waited in line behind a couple getting helped. We finally go to check in. Our room isn't ready. "Is that your only room?" I ask. I was told yes. They were sold out. The parking lot was empty, but they didn't have a room, they couldn't give me our room which at the time was 335 (this was only room they had) So we had family to meet so we couldn't wait around and they wouldn't let us check in so we left. Annoyed but "it's the only room".
So we come back later. Guess what. We are assigned room 349 now. ?? I mention the earlier only room thing to lady and she knew nothing about it. Ok. We go to room. There is the odor of marijuana smoke as we go down hall. Room looks ok but it did smell of marijuana in room also. Probably not fault of hotel. We settle in. My daughter who is 6 (This will come into play later in the review and might not matter to you if you are not sympathetic to a 6 yr old inhaling mold all night ) she dropped her toy. My son goes to get it and tells me "Daddy there is garbage under the bed". I look under the bed and there is water bottles, dirty paper plates. I look under the other bed and again garbage. GROSS. Called desk. This part is crazy. It's probably 9:30pm. The lady answers and she says nobody is here to help us and she wanted to leave it at that. Holy S. "Your joking right?" I said. She answered "No". But sensing my rising annoyed meter she said she would finish up and take care of it. Wait..wait..wait..ring ring. I answer phone. I can't get garbage till 11 tomorrow but I can offer you a complimentary $7 breakfast. I asked for a refund. Nope can't have one. Used Priceline so I am in the screwed zone and clearly that is the way they have chosen to treat us. Anyway she all of a sudden had a cancellation in a room. Ok we will take it. The relief of receiving customer service. We gathered all our belongings and ring ring. "I found another room, this will be a Premium Upgrade". Alright now we are talking. I see a nice review in my head. Premium upgrade holy cow. I stood a little taller. I puffed my chest out. I will not be an embarrassment to my family for booking this trip. This will be something to talk about. Anyway. Long story only slightly longer by a lot. We get to our new Premium room it is exactly the same as the room we had, it may be smaller. It also reeks of mold. I guess it is premium because it is on first floor and there is a little community court yard. So can't air out room cause someone could walk right in. Also the courtyard has a gate with one of those key required locks that leads to parking lot, basically the world. So wanting to air out the room I went to make sure that gate was secure. It didn't work. Anyone can walk off the street and into this courtyard into one of these rooms if the glass door isn't locked. Dang I better check the lock on that door. So here I sit. In a room reeking of mold, my family fell asleep thinking of what a shitty trip there dad has brought them on. It's 12:30am. I have to decide to lose my money and just leave or stick it out for two night so I can attend my grandmothers 90th birthday celebration/family reunion. I would have to go home if I bail on room. I can't get another room as it cost money. I have been clearly put into the f this guy file in this place. Plus the worry of mold and my family especially my 6 yr old having to breath it all night. This sucks. Nobody that works here gives a crap either clearly. Guess I won't be sleeping tonight anyway. And clearly customer service policy here is lie till they shut up. I shut up cause clearly this hotel chain doesn't care about customers, customer service, or cleanliness.
