Nice boat trip from Nuevo Vallarta or from the Cruise Ship Dock. Leave at 8 am or earlier, return at 5 PM. Full day of eating and drinking included, plus activities at John Huston's former home - SUP, kayak, snorkel, swimming - plus other activities.

Very well staffed. So much to do you don't have time to do it all. We swam with sea lions and enjoyed it much more than we expected. Out kids participated in the children's zip line course and had a blast. Oh and some reallydecent food enjoyed on the beach.

A destination by boat. You can rent a boat in Punta De Mita or you can do this trip thru Vallarta Adventures. There is snorkeling, swimming and beachcombing there. Great location.

This is a must when in PV, take a cruise that includes open bar and appetizers on your way to Las Caletas a private beach that only has water access. You will enjoy an amazing show that tells the story of the old Mexico and afterwards a buffet style dinner and all the wine you can drink. On you way back to PV the captain turns off the lights and you will see beautiful views of PV.

This island is a great spot to spend an afternoon. I spent my day scuba diving right around the island, then lunching on the beach. I also hear this was the island they bring you to for the popular "Rhythms of the Night" performance that is choreographed by the Cirque folks. My parents enjoyed it, but I skipped. It's not remote so much as well-furnished here.

If you are looking for a moment of relaxation away from all the tourists, I recommend spending a day in Las Caletas. Here the beauty of the beach and the greenness of the jungle that surrounds it are combined. The only way to get to this beach is by sea, so I took a wáter taxi from the Muelle los Muertos to do it. When you arrive, rent a kayak to enjoy the crystal clear waters and the tranquility that the sea transmits to you, but if you are looking for something more daring you can also snorkel or snorkel in the area.

I do not put this excursion at the height of the Los Arcos National Park or the Escondida beach, but if you stay more days in Puerto Vallarta, the company Vallarta Adventures organizes trips to the area of Cabo Corrientes, to visit the resort and Las Caletas beach. In the place there are activities for children, including lunch and you can snorkel in one of the most beautiful places in the area. It is an excursion that takes almost the whole day.
