North Providence

A very small park. A pretty good collection of different plants. The rose garden was not that great, I had seen better.

A Rhode Island treasure. Some of Rhode Island's friendliest individuals greet you with outstanding service and care as you experience the wonder and beauty which capture Providence's South side place of historical significance. An afternoon spent walking the zoo path is even more special if you have the time to invest in taking shots of animals basking in natural habitats; learning the current trends in preservation projects; And reflectively contemplating the balanced symbiosis of environment and wildlife. The additional benefit of having a "beyond the zoo family picnic makes for a worthwhile day of a smart family savings trip .

I thought that Roger Williams National Park must be the smallest of them all, but even at five acres, it's orders of magnitude larger than Thaddeus Koscuiszko. More interestingly, this is a national park in the middle of a city. Much of New England is like that since all the space is taken already. I'm used to west were national parks tend to be Rhode Island sized.
