If you like good country food, this is the place for you. The service is fantastic and wait until you taste the butter. Yum! Terrific place you'll stop at again and again.

Old Mill like cracker barrel, but without the restaurant chain feel. Really good food, awesome building and neat shopping area too.

Love going here! But expect a wait, that is how good it is! Portions are large so you can share a meal!

Great place to eat, but sometimes very difficult to get in and a bit expensive.

So we had never tried this place because word of mouth was it was really expensive for dinner. And looking at the menu I could kind of see that. But for lunch? Lunch is the time to go!

Meals are around $10-$12. Hubby order catfish dinner and got 2 fillets, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and okra. I got the fried chicken which came with 2 breasts!! As well as 2 sides. We also got biscuits, corn chowder, and corn fritters (similar to hush puppies). We had plenty to take home as leftovers!

And all of it was delicious! The breading was light and flaky. Seriously perfect! Not to crunchy, not too greasy, just delicious! There are a TON of tables in here, but our waitress was still prompt with answering any questions and with the refills. Before we even had to ask! The river offered a nice view while we ate. I wasn't a fan of having a large tray of all the dirty dishes in the area, but it did make it quicker for the server's to make their rounds. So dinner, kinda of meh, but coming before lunch ends at 4? Awesome!

Another great county food spot with lots of cool shops around the mill. Lots of variety with leather, pottery, whiskey, monogrammed rocks, kettle corn, jewelry, clothes, and even a forge where you can make your own knife.

Get a taste of true Southern hospitality at The Old Mill Restaurant. We’re known for our old-fashioned, classic Southern food; and we’ve gained reputation as one of the best restaurants in the Smokies. We’re a favorite local spot and attraction for a day trip to Pigeon Forge, and many of our vacationing guests dine with us regularly during their stays.

Dine in our double-tiered, wood paneled dining room that overlooks the Pigeon River. Located adjacent to the historic Old Mill, it offers views of the great water wheel that powers the mill; as the massive stones grind grains in the mill, you can watch the wheel turn just below the dam. And you’ll enjoy some of the stone-ground grits, breads, biscuits, pancakes, and muffins that are made from ingredients ground right next door.

Start your day with a hearty Southern breakfast: fluffy warm biscuits and muffins, cooked-to- order eggs, pancakes, grits and pepper gravy, sausage, bacon, and more. For lunch or dinner, you’ll never forget our country-fried steak, sugar-cured ham, pot roast and gravy, chicken and dumplings, chicken potpie, and much more. All entrees come with Signature Corn Chowder, fresh salad, fresh vegetables and sides served family-style, and homemade desserts. Some of our “secret” recipes can be duplicated at home; stop by the General Store or the Farmhouse Kitchen to find mixes for our gravy, pancakes, muffins, biscuits, chowder, and much more! Our famous pecan pies are baked from scratch daily at The Old Mill Restaurant, and they are available year ‘round to take home.

The restaurant, which is located on the banks of the Little Pigeon River, is one of the most popular dining choices in the Smokies and offers visitors excellent views while they dine. The Old Mill Restaurant is likely to bring back those glorious memories of eating at Grandma’s house.

Went for lunch today and we are so glad we did! The food is amazing! I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes (THE best ever), and carrots for $10.50! That included unlimited corn chowder and fritters with this delicious maple butter! My husband had country fried steak and we both ate for $25.00! No wait to get seated. We went on a Monday so it wasn't that crowded. We will be back to eat every time we go to Pigeon Forge!

The Old Mill Restaurant is one of our favorites. You won't leave hungry! The lunch menu is less expensive and still gives you plenty of delicious options to choose from. Our favorites are the corn chowder and fritters! YUM!! The lunch menu ends at 4:00pm and that's a good way to beat the crowd.

Not only is The Old Mill a beautiful location for a photo op, the kids will love feeding the ducks, geese and pigeons along the river that call the Old Mill their home. Feeding corn can be purchased in the Old Mill gift shop beside the restaurant. They also have a large selection of your favorite Old Mill jams, jellies and mixes.

This is an amazing place to eat! The food and atmosphere cannot be beat. A must try are the corn fritters. They are given with every meal. They come with a honey cinnamon butter. When you put on those fritters....I am not sure there is anything better in this whole world!

Old Mill Restaurant is a unique, picturesque restaurant on the Pigeon Forge river with a working mill. The restaurant offers complete, meal choices which includes everything from the corn chowder soup to the dessert. Be sure to ask for a window seat on the river. The gift shop offers locally ground flours from the mill and lots of other great gifts. Plenty of parking and you can enjoy the other shops across the street while there as well. There may be a line during busier times, but with the highly organized staff seems to move along quickly.
Located onl three miles from Tiffany Ridge cabin.
