This is not a bad hotel at all. In fact, it's sort of good tho. I still remember when I stay there, got a big lobby and if one to five-star is clean, this one was three-star. The good part is The staff there didn't touching the stuff like the Hilton in New York does — that is unprofessional and unacceptable in anyway. No matter what, you just can't touches customer belonging or even moving, etc.

This hotel didn't like that.

Although it was a bit hectic at the front desk when I walked into the hotel, the staff had a professional and down-to earth demeanor. The suite was perfectly cleaned and just big enough to keep one from feeling claustrophobic. Sitting rooms are equipped with a pullout couch, TV, desk area and one of those perfect coffee tables that you just can’t help to put your feet up on after a long day. The bedroom and sitting rooms are separated by a little area that has a sink, coffee maker and mini-fridge. The lobby area is a large, bright artrium with a nice-sized bar area, a restaurant called “Relish” (that sounds yummy, no?) and a mini café that sells Starbucks coffee and goodies.

No complimentary wifi for guests? That just seems so archaic these days. Okay, so they told me they are in the process of wiring the building for wifi or something like that...but the thing is, there already was wifi, guests just have to sign up and pay by the hour to use it. But enough of that rant, the rest of the place is pretty cool. I liked the set up of the room, or suite rather: a work/tv room with a pull out couch and loooong desk and nice TV when you first walk in, then a little alcove with a sink and the coffee maker beside a spacious bathroom, then you reach the private bedroom, with another nice TV and an incredibly comfy bed. The kind you kind of climb into.

I was pretty surprised to enjoy an airport hotel so much. There is so much available inside the big, towering hotel that I didn’t really notice I was outside the city. There’s a pool, fitness center, restaurant, bar, lounge/work area, burger shack (what? cool!), computers you can use, and a weird amount of space to just wander around in. Seriously, the first floor courtyard area is massive, and the ceilings are so high it almost feels like being outside. That was a big plus since I was visiting in late fall. I was actually sad to go because I didn’t have enough time to take advantage of everything. It’s nice to do the airport stop-over thing in luxury--helps you face (or recover from) the airport and a long flight.

Stayed here for a night as we had an early flight the next morning. Was able to make it out to the Franklin Institute with the kids and make it back before traffic hit and then camp out the rest of the night in the hotel, including having dinner at the cool restaurant in the atrium. The only problem was that the bar in the atrium was open until at least 11pm and the noise was pretty loud, which was a problem given how early we needed to get up. If we were in the bedroom, we probably wouldn't have noticed, but the kids had that room and we were in the living room bed. Still, glad we stayed there and would probably do it again--especially if I wasn't traveling with the kids.
