Description
Built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel, the 'Iron Woman' is the symbol of not only the City of Lights, but of France. At 1,063 feet, she's long lost her claim to fame as tallest gal in the world — the ... Read more
Chrysler building took her spot way back in 1930 — but she's still quite a looker. The line to go up the stairs or to the elevator is always long but the view up there is worth the wait. People often ask, is going to the top of the Eiffel tower really worth it?
If you are a doctoral student in art history, or something like that, and you only have a few days in Paris there might be better ways for you to spend your time. For most of the rest of us, unless you are totally jaded, I would say that going to the top of the Eiffel Tower is one of those once-in-a-lifetime things that's hard to justify except for the fact that you will never know what you might be missing if you don't do it. I'm so happy that we went to the top.

The Eiffel Tour is quintessentially PARIS! Now there is usually a line to ride the elevators up to the various levels and to the top. Magnificent views of the City of Lights. Worth the wait if you have not been up before

It’s a gorgeous sight and definitely worth the trip to see it in person rather than pictures

Is there anything more iconic or more associated with travel??

NOPE!

The Eiffel Tower is an iconic landmark for a reason, it is simply stunning from every angle. I cannot tell you how many random pictures I have of it littering my computer, but each one is fantastic. We tried to go up to the top in the winter, but unfortunately, the lift was frozen over. This summer we plan to finally make the ascent and we will take loads and loads of photos to upload here.

Location
Surrounded be the crowded city of Paris, at the centre of the city

Experience
Non other them the iconic and the world renowned structure of Eiffel tower. Beautiful structure, no entrance fee for the place there are several entrances if you want to visit the Eiffel tower I mean if u want to be under it and have a much closer look as I did. Few items are prohibited while if u want to visit or climb the tower like alcohol for example. Long que for the ticket if you want to catch the lift to go up on the tower, so buying tickets online if always a suggestion to skip the long awaiting time. Price can be checked online anytime. Beautiful and a long park in front of the park so u can sit and enjoy the view, the best thing is you can carry your own food and drinks including alcohol and enjoy. You can see some guys selling alcohol and ciggrates there discreetly from the sights of police. But they will sell it expensive u can always bargain just in case if u really want to drink. Other then that the place is really beautiful. And if you are staying there till late then wait for until it start getting dark because the tower sparkles like starts and that sight is so beautiful it happens every hours after it gets dark till 11pm or midnight.

Service
There are lots of kiosk and sovinier shops around the place, crepes and ice cream parlour are always a good option.

Hope this will be helpful.

Naturally, this is the one thing everyone wants to see on their Paris trip. The restaurant inside is beautiful (and comes with a complimentary glass of champagne). The views from the top and glass bottom are stunning. Having a picnic on the grass in front makes for the perfect photo op and chance to take in all around you in this city and admire the art in front of you.

Can you really review the Eiffel Tower? It's an icon. So if you're in Paris, you should definitely at least walk past it. I will say that going at night is beautiful and the view from the nearby Theatre de Chaillot is really, really nice.

There is nothing more wonderful than the Eiffel tower, specially at night. I do recommend to buy your own good champagne instead of paying 20 euros there for cheap stuff

This is obviously a must for anyone traveling to Paris, but make sure you do it right!! Try to plan ahead and purchase your tickets a few months out. They sell out fast so you have to keep an eye on it. Having your tickets ahead of time saves SO much time! We practically walked right on an elevator while the line to buy tickets was hours long. Also, I didn’t think the summit was worth it. The views from the middle are just as good and the very top was SO crowded, we could barely get a spot to look out. I don’t think we stayed up there very long at all. So if you’re deciding between the two, I wouldn’t go to the very top. You’ll have to stand in another line to get to the top anyway and I just didn’t think it was worth the time or money.

You want win any originality price for the mandatory selfie in front of one of the icons of the modern world, but the satisfaction after getting on top is still beyond expectations

You gotta do it! Great to visit at night and then hang out in front of the tower as you eat a crepe and watch the glittering lights light up.

Beautiful at night! The only drawback is the price to go up in the elevator (16 euros when I went). I love this landmark!

Must visit. Good place to visit especially at the sharp hour in the night, during which the whole tour will present a light show. Really amazing and unforgettable.
There is a restaurant in its first stage, where you will have best view during your diner.
