They do pack big boats full of people but it is a really great way to see the city!

While quite "touristy" a night cruise ( not a diner) on these boats make you glide by most major monuments while they are under the strong projectors of the boat.
Great way to get an "overview" of Paris

Before leaving Paris it is essential to take a ride on the Seine, allowing you to see in one hour river architecture monuments of the following:
- Our Lady of Paris
- The Louvre museum
- The Orsay Museum
- The Eiffel Tower
- The Pont Neuf
etc.
We recommend the company of Batobus, les navettes de Paris or les navettes du Pont Neuf

Viewing Paris from the river perspective is something different and really worth the trip. Most of them leave from the Eiffel Tower, go around the Notre Dame and all the way back to the Statue of Liberty. You get an audiotour with history of all the bridges, buildings and events that happened on the river bank.

I would highly recommend going on a boat trip along the Siene River in Paris. Some might decry it as being touristy, but regardless, it's a lovely way to see the city, especially when the sun sets at night and the Eiffel Tower lights up in a dazzling ray of sparkles.

I tried both the daytime and night time river cruise and both have their advantages. At night though, due to the cities famous illuminations, the sight is more dramatic.

The Seine is great but these tourist monstrosities are both pleasant (for the views) and gut wrenching (because of the endless tourist chatter and smell of reinforced Aquanet).

These boat rides on the Seine, which general ply the route between Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower, are great fun for kids. Multiple entry and exit points along the way.

Take one of the "bateaux mouches" boat trip on the Seine for a relaxing tour of Paris, seen from the river.

Definitely a must if you're visiting Paris! About an hour after we put our things in the apartment, we went out for a sunset cruise on the Sienne. It was stunning and so much fun! Also, you can buy a 2€ bottle of wine from the grocery and share it while you're on the boat. That's what we did!

Typical tourist activity to do, but "les bateaux mouches" are a great way to see the city and taken it its breathtaking architecture and iconic landmarks. It is breath of fresh air than being stuck underground on the metro!

The Bateaux Parisiens are excursion boats operated on the Seine river. We went at night and it is a great way to see the City of Lights. Touristy yes, mandatory absolutely.

Instead of walking all over the place, take a boat cruise to orient yourself to the city with a Seine boat tour. You'll get to see many of the main sites and get a quick ride to the Eiffel Tower.

I had a dinner with my wife there. Was expensive, but worth every euro spent. We loved and we will go back on our next time.

I've been a few times when I was visiting Paris or when friends were visiting me in Paris. It's a great way to sit back, relax and see some of the best city sights.

Bateaux Parisiens offers cruises along the Seine River. The ride is very relaxing and it is a great way to see the city. They also offer French style lunch/dinner over the cruise, which definitely would be a memorable experience in Paris.
